GOG.com: Release: Bundle of D&D Classics from SNEG
No good, if you already own most of these games (price for the bundle stays the same, and you don't receive gift copies).
But great for people who don't own any of them, but have interest in all of them.

Edit:
Yo, GOG! This is how this situation looks from my viewpoint:

The bundle is priced €52,39
There are 13 items contained within the bundle.
That means - on average - every item within the bundle costs €4,03
(yes, I know - the single games have different prices - that doesn't matter, though - since they are sold bundled here, for a fixed price).

I have already bought 8 items out of that bundle in the past, which leaves 5 that I still have to buy (if I want them all).

Now, according to the calculation above, that makes: 5 items x €4,03 = €20,15
And honestly: I would see that as a fair price.

But...the bundle doesn't acknowledge my already owned items, so I'd have to pay the full price of €52,39 instead, only to get these 5 missing items.

Alternatively, I could buy them separately, of course...which would cost me €41.03 right now.

Here's my question:
judging the situation as it presents itself after this release - why would I ever be willing to spend more than the aforementioned €20,15 for these 5 items, if that's the price you're effectively asking for (according to this bundle's total price)?

Especially, since I spent more than the cost of this bundle already, only to buy these 8 items mentioned above?

Could these:

- Al-Qadim: The Genie's Curse
- D&D Stronghold: Kingdom Simulator
- Spelljammer: Pirates of Realmspace
- DragonStrike
- Fantasy Empires
- DeathKeep

be bundled eg. as the "The Archives - Collection Four/Five", please? ;)

Would definitely make it a more attractive offer (if the price is right).

This would have been a great place for a permanent "build the bundle" to discount for already-owned titles and boost, up to the limit, the discount based on those selected.

Instead, it's just another "SKU" clogging up the catalog.

The "Archives" Bundles, as I see it, were related to the setting/Campaign/Series/Thematically etc... Something similar to the Silver Boxes, I mean, Forgotten Worlds, Gold Box games, Ravenloft, Dragonlance etc.

Those standalone titles are from mixed different Dungeons and Dragons settings and not part of series, but single titles.

Greetings

I don't know about the rest of you guys but I pretty much bought all of this stuff as it was released. Wondering how many people want these games but didn't have any of them. Also, how many people who have never bought any of these are going to spend so much for all of them? They're getting a good discount on it all, at least.

There are always new store users. And not every user owns every game

For these? I'd think everyone who wanted them already has them.

I own some of these, but not all of them.
This collection makes for a nice checklist. <3

I already have every one of these on GOG. I also have many in the original physical versions.

Useless for anyone who has 1 or more of the games included because no price reduction and no gift offer.
Yeah as other people say, I got basically all of the available games so the collection doesn't work well for me.
