Demons at the door, your village laid to waste. The only answer is to throw on some Pjs and unleash justice, ninja justice.

The retro-inspired The Messenger pre-orders double flip onto GOG, packing all the throwing stars and special abilities that would make Shinobi proud. Bosses, hidden levels, a toe-tapping original soundtrack. Relive the golden age of the action platformer, without half the hairspray or lack of internet connection.

100% Ninja, 100% up for pre-order.
But who messages the messenger?
I don't think it's the right link.

That's what worried me most :]
We need a messenger to send a message about the broken link to the messenger!

GOG refused Tanglewood? :-o Shame on you GOG!
16,79€ but still 60 cents off for fair price package?

Strange...
Ninja Gaiden on GOG... oh, wait.
havent read the anouncement in the forum only watched the video and my
first impression watching the small video:
retro stuff....

The Last Ninja , The Last Ninja 2, ( C64) retro classics inspired game that was my first impression watching the small video

Sound/music in style of Martin Gallway

Inspiration may also come from AMIGA games, AMIGA had dozens of games like this, played dozen of games like this

game looks good... but the system req. are modern:

Minimum system requirements - Windows: 7 SP1 / 8 / 10
Processor: Intel core i5-4210 1.7ghz

i5 at 1.7 ghz ???? i assume unity is used? or another framework engine? why such high requirements for games they build in the 80s?

I remember all the click nplay tools that allowed you to develop great games. i owned many and the fun part was the min requirements were the same as the tool that made the game: so if the game developer tool ran on a x mhz machine that would be the min req.
I wonder if the min req. can be much lower if it was coded like the first old games in compact machine language or whatever they called it.
