zeffyr: If someone's interested, the developer studio had published a raport of game's sales during the first 3 days: they sold 37k copies of Succubus, Steam and GOG combined (they're on stock market, so were probably obliged to give the numbers to shareholders). Game's production cost was around $1M and the sales covered around half of that in 3 days.
tfishell: Nice. Hopefully they sold enough copies here to make the GOG release worthwhile. I'd still like
Agony to show up for people.
There are quite a few things they could improve in the game but reading what they post on their discord and patchnotes they do listen to feedback and try to improve the game with upcoming patches. Complaints I have so far (hoping they will change these).
1) Checkpoint system is terrible. Checkpoints won't be saved if you quit the game - ponly if you die. This does not even change if you have to encounter a boss battle.
2) Menu UI is terrible when you use keyboard anmd mouse since you have to click some things AND use keys to access some other options. It is not possible to access everything just with a mouse. That's the main reason I switched to controller for which the game seems to be designed to.
3) A little bit of Story is there but unfortunately the devs completely forgot to implemet the story inside the levels. So you simply go from level to level - killing enemys - sometimes bosses and you don't really know why you are there and why you have to kill a certain boss. A short description f how the story is connected to the actual level in the level description would change tzhis flas really easy.
3) This is a game that has its focus on taboo breaking - yet they changed quite a few scenes from the demo and made them more tame ... why? Why bothering with unrated DLC if one still have taboos you want to keep?
