BrokenBull: Dear GOG,
I know you hear this a lot, but it's too late. I already bought this from Humble Store which I don't like. I never thought Broforce would come to GOG. If possible, let people know that a game will arrive here, so they'll wait. I would have loved to have bought the game from GOG. The whole point is not only to inform fans, but to help fans support your site by buying from it.

gamesfreak64: Sorry to hear that, but you could have asked me: if you had asked me : "Will Broforce arrive on GoG"
i would have said ; yes it will, let me explain:

Like i said before, numbers /reviews do count, so if game is doing extremely well, sells by the 'gazillions' and the dev/publishers are willing to negotiate on drm free versions, the game will have 99% chance it will arrive.
As for voting: we have 'gazillions' of games voted for, but: voting does not 'guarantee' sales.... reviews and sale numbers like Broforce has on steam..... do, and these matter, not the gazillion votes for games on anywishlist, cause if every gamer votes for a game even if he /she doesnot like it but want to help out a fellow gamer who does like it, you get 1000000 votes on any game, which wont guarantee it will sell a lot.
I have soo many old games on my external list, but.... they wont ever come, shadow watch was a lucky, i have the retail game, and suddenly it was there i was very happy with it and got it right away.

Anyway i am a gamefreak, want to buy games , lots of them if possible, but availability also counts, you cant buy whats not available.
I think what you wrote is a legit explanation, but why is it that Humble Store can sell a drm-free version before GOG? I think it would be fair to have both stores receive the game at the same time. This way people could choose which store to buy it from. If Humble Store receives a game and sells it drm-free is it guaranteed it will come to GOG? When Humble Store receives a game to sell it drm-free I think GOG could let fans know if they will receive the game. At that point they are probably negotiating with the developers by then.

mistermumbles: No big surprise there. Is AvP and Witcher Adventure Game all there was?

Grargar: Rise of the Triad, Grand Ages: Medieval and probably the recently-released Battlezone 98 Redux.
Probably? :P
ARGH! It's like they looked at my Steam profile and decided to bring everything I had there to GOG to make me feel bad. C'mon GOG Connect, step it up!

so much brotality
Bought it on Humble more than a year ago, like a lot of people... :´(

In the beginning, I played only the DRM-Free version, but the updates were greatly delayed compared to the steam version (sometimes it takes a month or even more to get the new DRM-free build) and the DRM-free multiplayer doesn't work properly (although it did in the beta builds), so somehow it seemed that an evil terrorist force wanted people to play only the steamed version...
I am glad it has finally reached GOG, and people will have a trustable DRM-free version of this awesome game. Anyway, I don't buy games I already own twice (ahem, is GOG connect still there?) so it's a real pity it is so late for me.

Anyway, for anyone that hasn't already played this game, my advice is: GO FOR IT! IT'S A F#####G MASTERPIECE!

omega64: Probably? :P
Probably. Its page makes no mention that the multiplayer is between GOG users only, but then there is also no confirmation that it supports crossplay.

chevkoch: What a great game, but sadly the system requirements are too high for my machine.
avatar
gamesfreak64: Yes, they are way to high imho.
I guess its probably made with some 'gamemakers engine' or something like that, 99% is made with ''gamemakers' [...]

CPU/GPU bashing games are being released alot but graphics usually look like 8bit and resemble a lot like AMIGA games? i dont know what happend with the old coding they used to do in the early days ( i have been gaming for 40 years now so i know a lot of games) [...]
Yeah, I figure the same - apparently it was made with Unity. Maybe some of the juice needed is for fancy effects, but I'd easily do without these if the game would be less hardware-hungry. I'm sure Broforce could be done so it'd run on older computers. Sucks for me I guess.
Nice release, does the GOG version multiplayer have crossplay capabilities? (with Steam versions)
Wow! One of the best Indiegames arrived here... finally.
I already own it on Humble Store but had to buy it here too.
Never played it, but I tried The Expandabros for free on Steam and it was fun. However, I'm agree that the system requirement is too high for a 8-bit game look alike.

Two days in a row of good releases? During a sale? I don't even recognize this GOG anymore, but I like it.
Now tomorrow Offworld Trading Company please.

It does suck very hard, if i were a dev i would try to reach as much buyers as possible, i would even made a less heavy version or include an option to really disable enhanced (physics) effect, cause imho physics dont make a game, in the past we had games looking like ministeck but boy did they sell.
I think options should allow to tinker the game so that almost every pc can run it, take AGS , Wadjet sues it to make very good games (i have all) and i even have lots of games that look like these; Kathy Rain is one of them.
Take Punch Club: very good game,
Minimum system requirements - Windows: XP / Vista / 7 / 8 / 10
Processor: 1 GHz and up
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Graphics: 3D graphics card compatible with DirectX 9.0c
Storage: 1 GB available space

So it is possible.

I bought Alpha Polaris (point and click game) at steam, it was on sale (listprice 11.99 euros)

Minimum:
OS: Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10
Processor: Intel P4 or AMD Athlon 64 processor
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Graphics: Graphics card with DirectX 9 support
DirectX: Version 9.0
Storage: 1000 MB available space
Additional Notes: MINIMUM RESOLUTION 1280*768

Bad thing is: Alpha Polaris is using more cpu so i guess a P4 wont do as minimum :D
1280 is a bit weird, cause , there are still 1024x768 games created or games that support that resolution,

So i dont know why he used 1280 as minimum, maybe he couldnot get the desired quality of graphics , but that is also a no cause Zerzura has options to adjust from 640 tot 1280 , its always full screen , but the graphics look blurry and pixelised when using 640 of course :D, i have it at 1024 or 1280.

Anyway i think Zerzura is very good game.

I started playing Alpha Polaris yesterday (game can be run without steam needed after you downloaded and installed the game using the client, same goes for Chronicles of Zerzura)

So its a good thing there are devs that still make games that will run on less powerfull PC's.
I have to admit, I feel somewhat obligated to buy this, despite it not at all being my genre of game.
