The land of the pirates and the home of the brave.

Braveland Pirate, the concluding episode of the Braveland trilogy, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 25% launch discount!

You've wielded the sword and shield, you've wielded the magic, now you'll wield the cutlass and parrot in the concluding (and, as is fitting for the end of a trilogy, most epicest) episode of the Braveland trilogy.
Braveland Pirate continues a tradition of quality strategy gameplay in a cute and quirky, hand-drawn wrapper. The Braveland series has always set out to strike a balance between accessible tactics and head-scratching challenge - the final entry delivers precisely that: across open seas and treasure islands, you'll step on hexagonal, turn-based battlefields alongside a crew of daredevils, cannoneers, cabin boys (note: they prefer cabin men) and swashbucklers. Fitting for a pirate adventure, you'll also pillage booty, uncover hidden treasures, and take on bounties scattered across the nonlinear, tropical frontier. If you're ever in trouble, remember that every good pirate has a trick or two up their sleeve...

Braveland Pirate is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com! The launch discount will last for one week, until Tuesday, November 17, 1:59 PM GMT.
Another game I have elsewhere.. I enjoyed this series though... casual strategy
Why was only the first one localized to french and german ?

I was waiting for wizards being in french, but seeing that pirate is out and still only in english and russian, I will just forget about it.
Nice. Thanks.

You do? Isn't this a Day-1 release? Or is it Day-1 for PC, but already out for android etc?

It already appeard on Humble two or three weeks ago, and probably other places, too.

Nice! I liked the other two games. tHey are good titles when you are in mood for a TBS game, but don't want to play something overly complex.

"aaarg shiver me timbers, matey flip..."

exactly my thinking, i have 350 casuals on cd/dvd retail, 75% are HiddenObjectGames or HOG in short

text is copied from mail so its always in caps:

BRAVELAND PIRATE € 6.39 € 4.79
DISCOUNT – 2015_FALL_PROMO € 1.60
Order total: € 4.79

keep these coming, i love those games
These game types i buy retail at max price of 7.49 euros and max 12.49 euros for HOG special edition, and max 9.99 euros for a normal HOG version, usually at bol dot com cause they have good deals buy 2 get cheapest free and more like that.
They are in dutch language (all texts and interface) so thats less, cause i like to keep my english active :D
but luckily the voices if used are english, i usally buy english games.

Most casualgames have option to show the default windows cursor, as a big fan of casual games, i noticed over the years playing these games , that if available in the options, I always use the default white cursor cause the custom cursor which is used by default usually is:

- a bit harder to spot on screen between all the other colorful items so you tend to loose track of the cursor if you position it in a place on screen in a graphic area, when you come back to the pc after a break or a nature call ,
you find yourself looking for it.

- sometimes the custom cursor 'lags' a little , making it feel 'wobbly' like its floating away from you and you have to keep it on its place.

So thats why the majority of the casual games have option to use the default windows cursor, thats the small white cursor. I have played many many casual games the last 7 years, and also lots of casualgames demos.

Ah, true, I recall seeing the "November 10" release date on the gamecard, but it was for when it will be available on GOG, not its original release date. Thank you.
No classic release today?
Wizard and Pirate released later on GOG than Steam for some reason. Glad this is finally here.
I literally just finished Wizard.

do you mean an old one like 1989 or the nineties or a 2008 which is also and old one.

i am waiting for the secretfiles to arive , it seems to be from deep silver, which is on GOG aswell, so i hope these will arrive here aswell
GG seems to have it all on sale, again, i got it the last time, bad thing is only secret files 1 = drm free the others have securom, tages or and steam

So i only play the drm free one for now and very rarely i play the drm shites on my old XP where i also have steam installed, not gonna steam my win7 or any later windows version.

I really enjoyed the other two, they're the rare kind of casual game that doeasn't feel like a waste of time. It's simplistic, yes, but still a fine turn based strategy.

Wishlisted for now, while I wait to see if something more interesting comes along while the sale lasts.
