Sachys: Game looks decent enough but by the title, people no longer have a clue of what punk is.
Wishlisting for now

my name is catte: They've clearly shortened cyberpunk and forgotten that punk already had a meaning. Kind of like we did with "underpants" in the UK...
Yeah thats obvious but also entirely what i mean - along with people "inventing" genres by adding "punk" to the end when theres zero relation to anything punk.
Whats next? Muffinpunk? Taxreturnpunk? GOGbearpunk?!?!?
low rated

Oh yeah, but I don't think that criticism applies to cyberpunk which was a term coined in 1980.
It's cool how these pixel games can still have a unique "look" that shines through. Really like the look of this one. I try and support PnC games as best I can so went ahead and got this.

no it doesnt, but cyberpunk is punk.

Sachys:
I wouldn't say zero relation in this case, unless you mean the music.

avatar
Sachys:
Well, at least the genera can be in some cases.

Someone in the military producing "punk" is like a large corporation producing "cyberpunk", it is just apropriation. The title image seems designed to look like "Porn Pun" at a glace...

Based on the first trailer there might be at least some small aspect of vaguely punk social commentary, if only to mock it. However, watching it again you could be right and there might be no connection at all.
Hi.

Falko (the main dev) is indeed currently in Australia. Film Victoria actually helped with the game funding.
Linux and Mac versions are planned and will be released later. I don't think there is a date but it will surely be announced.
And rest assured, there is a lot of "punk" in the game, it's not just an empty name.

i_ni: The other store's forum says Proton works fine so likely vanilla Wine works fine two, will give it a try later.
So yeah, seems a semi-Linux support is there.
avatar
eiii: I'm just asking because when the game was announced as "coming soon" the game card had (native) Linux and German, Spanish and French language support. I guess being able to run it with Wine is at least something...
Confirmed, works fine on my machine,
$ wine64 --version
wine-7.10 (Staging)
This is just plain stupid title.

I think that sounds cool, not lame as you probably mean.
I mean, how badass of a baby that would be? Plus it would probably tickle her as the baby was coming out.

I follow this game's production for a while now.
Bad timing for me as I am currently broke, but it is on my wishlist and I am going to get it when I can.
Gorgeous game, good developer interactive with people, answering questions.

On my to buy list 100%.

All those other "-punk" genres were named following cyberpunk.

English is a living language, and the use of "-punk" as a suffix is separate with a distinct meaning from "punk" as a noun or adjective. Adapt with it or fall behind.
Next will be Fluffybeartrashmetal
