Vengeance in a nutShell.

Bombshell, a top-down, explosive action-RPG about extracting some sweet intergalactic revenge, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com with GOG Galaxy achievements and a 10% launch discount.

The "Washington Incident" has certainly left a bad taste in Colonel Shelly Harrison's smart mouth. Quite understandably so, since it was there that she lost her right arm and the rest of her bomb squad. Now working as a mercenary and sporting a handy mechanical arm made from mostly unknown materials, Bombshell is eager to start kicking serious alien butt across four different planets.

Slip into the shell of foul-mouthed Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison and blast away the legions of ugly aliens that seek to destroy our humble planet. The past-paced, frantic gunplay and the imposing bosses in 3D Realms' latest offering will leave you no time for chewing bubblegum but what you will have in abundance are opportunities for crude comebacks. Use them wisely, wise-guy.

Punch and blast some manners into the alien terrorists as foul-tempered Bombshell, available now, DRM-free on GOG.com. If you want to do it with even more gusto, be sure to grab the soundtrack and artbook included in the Bombshell Deluxe Edition. But if you are not ready to commit yet, you can always get the Bombshell Deluxe Edition Upgrade later. The 10% launch discount will last until February 08, 5:59 PM GMT.

gamesfreak64: The price is also ridiculously high 35 bucks list price?
avatar
TheMonkofDestiny: It's also completely laughable given how much of a bug-ridden mess the game is currently.
ow? we also get free bugs aswell :D?
i enjoy meat, but bugs? nah i pass on that.

I still hope the secret files 1,2,3, and sam peeters will arrive here , the 1st is/was drm free on GG the rest is Tages protection and/or steam .
If these older games could arrive here eventually i buy them :D. ( i have 1 on GG the rest is steam needed and or tagens drm protection so these are not installed i dont need drm on my pc)

They sell around 9.99 each the 3th game is 19.99 thats a little bit too high
But at 4 x 8.99 (sales) each that would be a nice buy 4 games for less then 40 euros.
That would be a instabuy for me ....i got these at a nice sales aswell on GG a while back last year)
but the game seems 'unknown' cause there so little votes for it.

gamesfreak64: he is right about this: LGR - Top 17 Worst PC Games

awful, bad, crappy videogames, i watched the video and he is right these 17 games are garbage.
Oh, he's pretty often right about things. Or rather, I tend to agree with his views a lot of the time, at least when it comes to older games.
Well, for the time being only Gggmanlives has similar opinions to me although I like experiment with games more even if didn't like some things at first impression, in many occasions didn't agree with LGR reviews though.
catpower1980: "It looks interesting as a top-down shooter but the in-game screenshots ar maybe too "heavy" in terms of visuals: I have to zoom in just to see where the heroin is :("

avatar
Luned: What about the cocaine?

(Bad pun. For non-native speakers, heroin is a drug, heroine is the feminine form of hero
avatar
catpower1980: Ah thanks, I didn't undestand InfraSuperman comment on this at first :o)

(in French, "heroïne" is "heroine" but I thought the correct English form was to correct the "i" and leave the "e", I've learned something today ^o^)
No worries. I enjoyed it, as it gave me a more interesting visual image of what the game might be like. And who knows? Maybe the game could have benefitted from some kind of drug theme. Using your example, I could easily imagine trying to zoom all the way in to try and find a heroin upgrade. :)

Wishlisting this one for now.
Well, I've seen a few videos and it's a nice game bogged down to a grinding halt due to things they could fix relatively easy:
- capability to zoom out more
- put in respec
- don't disturb the flow when doing finishers. look at blood rayne, she continues shooting other enemy while you're sucking blood of one enemy.
- acknowledge SJW people won't buy this title anyways no matter how PC you cut it, and go all out on the oneliners and sexism (yes, go against boys, i as a boy am cool with it, it's fun!). also, don't repeat oneliners often. don't.

but it's interceptor (rott2013), so it'll get fixed eventually. these guys are a glutton for premature releases.
what's really annoying, however, is the amount of medieval fantasy environments they use :-(

It looks interesting, I might buy it as soon as I have money left that way I will have more information about the game when I decide about it.
Shiny. However, I'll have to reign in my magpie response until there are more reviews. Seems to be a mixed bag at the moment. Plus I probably need a beefy new PC to run it proper.

Speaking of 3D games, picked up my Eldritch game again last night (trying to get the "hardcore" ending). Just as fun as I remembered. Shame it's not on GOG.
This is a bummer. I've been following this game forever waiting for its release. As a huge fan of 3D Realms I have been planning on snapping this up right away, and have been counting down the 29 days prior to release. I can't believe it's getting the reviews it is. :(
disappointed with how the game turned out , a huge fan of 3d realms i wasn't bothered by the score reviews but after lgr's review i think i will pass this game for now until its in a bundle or a massive sale
The girl with a robotic arm and the villain with a metal jaw immediately reminded me of Fury Road O_o

Seems like it'll be at least decent if you wait for them to fix the bugs.

Eldritch is a lot of fun! I've been waiting for GOG to get it forever. Here is the wishlist!

To make more money from upcoming sales. This is a new IP and 3D Realms lost Duke Nukem, so they need more money for their future projects.

aha , i get the idea :D
thanks for the reply, but i googled on prices and AAA games being expensive and getting way to expensive, many time is see the words economy , inflation and more sad words.

In this period where evrything is slowly going down the drain , devs decide to ask enormous prices for 'AAA' games ?

Sad thing is those huge minimal requirements, suppose i was able to play any game (motionsickness)
then i'd still be not able to buy games like these cause the price is way to high for just 1 single game (that is not even finished yet)
plus i would need to buy or build me a complete new pc, so that game would get very expensive.

I can only hope that many more new game developers will startup and create games that still can run on a normal system

nividia gts 250 1gb ram
8 gb ram
quadcore 2.67 mhz
i havent bought any AAA game since years, command and conquer, baldurs , fallout those were the games at that time and affordable with decent sys. requirements, commands (classic versions)
59 tot 129 guilders at max.

Nowadays they talk about 40 or 60 euros , even more sometime, i see versions at 89 euros, digital only that is way to expensive and has gone out of hand, no physical extra's... and most versions also have drm in it (ea/steam/ ubisoft etc etc etc)
And the quality is many times of quite a low level.

Anyways, its good that indie games are still around , and some old games (90s) these are fun, have a affordable price, and 99% run at recommend at my pc system.
I can only hope that the 40-99 euros or more pricetags are not getting too common for 1 single , average or below average game.

There are still plenty low budget games that are more fun, and the price and system req. are right aswell.
I dont mind games getting here that are 40 or maybe 100 euros for 1 game, but i do hope that the old small affordable games wont be forgotten.

Saddest thing is, that apparently some existing old games which are from devs/publishers who are on GOG already
are not here yet, while these games are good games.
I think Nordic has some games that arent here yet but are good games.
I even believe Deepsilver has some, if these games could get here drm free aswell, then we would have some good, known old games, at a good price.
