Blood: Fresh Supply is now available DRM-free. If you own the original Blood: One Unit Whole Blood, you can get the remaster 5 USD cheaper (the final discount is 5 USD equivalent, and may vary depending on your region and price in local currency). Offer is valid until June 9th, 3pm UTC.

Battle an army of sycophantic cultists, zombies, gargoyles, hellhounds, and an insatiable host of horrors in your quest to defeat the evil Tchernobog. Squirm through 42 loathsome levels filled with more atmosphere than a Lovecraftian mausoleum. Begin your journey armed with a simple pitchfork and earn more effective implements of destruction like aerosol cans, flare guns, voodoo dolls and more!

Original Blood: One Unit Whole Blood from now on will be available as a free bonus with Blood: Fresh Supply.
Never found a good source port for this and it ran kind of weird at high resolutions, so good release. 50% discount is a nice gesture. Will purchase.
Got it as soon as I noticed banner on main page.

You need to enable "Full 3D Aim Look" to get an undistorted view while looking up and down. So far this looks OK for a remaster but audio and music volume controls seem not to work. And I would like to see a strafe toggle key added so that I can play it like in 1997.

I'm wondering that too, the post is just a "buy it yea yea yea!" with absolutely no information on what's so great about the remaster.

MartijnNL: If I got it on steam? How does the discount works?
avatar
Pond86: It doesn't. I'm sure when it gets released on Steam later you will most likely get a discount there for owning it. But GOG and Steam are two different stores.
I know the Sniper Elite V2 Remastered discount didn’t apply across stores. I bought the original on Steam and wanted the remaster on GOG. I just paid the full $30 because having no DRM is more important to me long term than saving $20.

I’m happy to see Blood finally have a proper source port. Will give it a run when I get home.
Will it get Linux support?
As I see Steam has Turok 2 for Linux too now, on GOG it's Windows only.

Loger13: Why delete original as separate item? It's good to have original as bonus for remaster. It's bad not to have ability to buy it as separate item.
avatar
MobiusArcher: It might be confusing. People would buy the wrong version, and then complain a lot.
And these your people can distinguish between two different versions of the same game? Well, for example, Standard and Deluxe? Do not get confused? Or do so stupid people live around you? (those around me can distinguish)
I wish it were possible to remake the cutscenes (nope), they're the only bad thing about Blood XD
Also, I only have 49% off, what gives, gog? Haven't fixed your rounding bullcrap yet?

Why is having the original separate necessary anyways? So long as I can get a copy of it, I’m happy. Only when the original is unavailable (like vanilla Doom 3 on GOG) will I be annoyed. After all, Bioshock didn’t have their originals as separate purchases here.

That was exactly what my dad said. He said it still looks low quality, I said be glad we are actually seeing them. The game loaded up, he admitted it did look alot better.

Though a few Issues I have with it changing resolution causes the game to blank screen for me and I have to Windows Key out and close it then relaunch it. Also the demos are missing.

(And a suggestion to Nightdive can you not allow us to use the hud from NBlood? As it looks so much better.)

I already posted the answer to this question as have several others. Just bought it and I can confirm:

1) Mouselook works like a charm.
2) Many resolution settings and the intro scene that was letterboxed now fits the 16:9 screen while still keeping the aspect ratio (which means you still have some small bars on the left and right).
3) Key binding and rebinding is much more easy than with the original (you had to enter a seperate config program in the original).
4) Some graphic settings that might improve the look of the game (not sure how much these will do - it still is an old game).
5) If you like achievements you will have those as well now with Galaxy implementation - if not ... no bomus.

I also would like to add that they included the original bonus goodies as well. I own the original as well and compared those. So far I don't see any reason for fans of the original to notz buy this ... but I only played a little bit to see how controld are working.

For me it was really worth the small upgrade price - doubt that I will even play the original anymore now.
