Blood: Fresh Supply is now available DRM-free. If you own the original Blood: One Unit Whole Blood, you can get the remaster 5 USD cheaper (the final discount is 5 USD equivalent, and may vary depending on your region and price in local currency). Offer is valid until June 9th, 3pm UTC.

Battle an army of sycophantic cultists, zombies, gargoyles, hellhounds, and an insatiable host of horrors in your quest to defeat the evil Tchernobog. Squirm through 42 loathsome levels filled with more atmosphere than a Lovecraftian mausoleum. Begin your journey armed with a simple pitchfork and earn more effective implements of destruction like aerosol cans, flare guns, voodoo dolls and more!

Original Blood: One Unit Whole Blood from now on will be available as a free bonus with Blood: Fresh Supply.
Yeah I'm not buying this, I would pay for a SOURCE PORT, but not a clone.
It's less than a cinema ticket and you can't pitchfork penetrate at the cinema, legally anyway
If you own the original OUWB you can already play it via BloodGDX and NBlood, you don't really need FS and it's more of a remake.
This IS a source port with whole game updated and recreated both source and bits of it that were missing ported to different engine.

DoomSooth: Anyone who was going to buy the original already has. Why is it bad that they're only available together?
Uhh, I don't have it because I would have had to "travel" to another country to buy it. Would have certainly done so some time though. Additionally, what about people who join the website after it's been pulled? I had to find someone to get Baldur's Gate from via trade because it got gated by Beamdog, just like this game is now.
My two wishes are fulfilled 1. The Curse of the Monkey Island 2. Good remaster of Bood. Sure I have tried the source ports, but this is way better. Now only one game remains - No One Lives Forever (&2).

Incorrect. A source port would be based on the source code of the original game, hence the term source port. This release is based on a completely different engine and code.

NBlood is probably the closest we'll have to a source port as it's based on EDuke32, which in turn is based on Build.

NBlood is backward engineered based on bits of source code, ported to Eduke32.
Fresh Supply is backward engineered based on bits of source code, ported to Kex (which lnclude variety of engines within one environment, depending on the game among these can be Build, Doom etc).
So, nope, not really, because by that way of your thinking none of these are source ports, because none of these were direct purest of the purest raw source code to executable and Eduke32 is from Duke3d version of Build now aiming to be launcher for Build games too in near future (and code for Blood is different than Duke of Shadow Warrior, as stated by Nblood author.

You don't know what you are talking about. A source port is a port made from the original sources. Kex is based on Doom64 EX, which is based on Doom3D, which is based on Linux Doom, which is based on the original Doom source. Blood was based on the Build engine and has no relation to the Doom source.

If it were a source port, they wouldn't have needed to reverse engineer anything.

Mafwek: Good to see not everybody is stingy about 5$ for a good remaster.

eiii: I do not consider removing OS support from a game as a good remaster. And removing access to the game card of the original game with all the information also is annoying.
Voted!

Old Blood is still available, is it not? So I don't see how the game "lost OS support" since it's the different game. Card information is part of GOG's policy, most likely so they can sell this version and not the old one. Shitty of them yes, I agree, but isn't connected with remaster itself.

I am very happy with this remake, far more smoother to play than old version, and I didn't even notice it got customizeable difficulty.
Finally. I have 2 questions though..

1) Is the game still playable on keyboard only with auto-aim?

2) Are the HUD elements and texts properly scaled to high resolutions (e.g. everything not being extremely small)?
Very tempted to get this.
Voxel things looks nice too.

1) Theoretically yes. Didn't try. Default controls are adjusted for modern WASD + mouse aim.

2) Hud is pretty readable at 1920 x 1080 on relatively small laptop screen.

Thanks.

A better question for 1) would probably be:
Is there an auto-aim option somewhere in the game options?

If yes, then there should be no problem playing with keyboard only.
