Blasphemous is an excellent, highly-praised 2D metroidvania game where you play as The Penitent One – a sole survivor of the massacre of the ‘Silent Sorrow’. Trapped in an endless cycle of death and rebirth, it’s down to you to free the world from this terrible fate and reach the origin of your anguish.

Now, its long-awaited sequel, Blasphemous 2 has just released and is available on GOG alongside the game’s OST, Digital Artbook and Digital Deluxe Edition that gathers it all in one place.

I miss fighting with Mea Culpa already, here's hoping it eventually becomes available again at some point further into the game.
Unless something happened to it or it got destroyed in one of the free mini-expansions I probably should have played before jumping into the sequel?

Wounds of Eventide added a canonical ending with new levels, that *really* expands on some characters, the miracle and Mea Culpa, if you care about the lore you should've played that beforehand yeah

But beyond that, if you played the first Blasphemous at launch and never touched it again, you've missed a lot of QoL updates and content
