Groovy baby, yeah!

UPDATE : Bit.Trip just had another bit added: the Mac versions of Bit.Trip Core, Flux, Fate, and Void are now available on GOG.com. Go make some music, people!

Bit.Trip series, the colorful rhythmic/platformers that celebrate the power of music, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com.

If you've ever been to a Bit.Trip then you know what to expect. Lots of running, jumping, kicking, sliding, punching, as in the two Bit.Trip Runners, and sometimes even some rhythmic soul-searching, as in Bit.Trip Core, Void, and Fate. All of that while listening to explosive music, going through vibrant levels, and keeping up your rhythmic moves. CommanderVideo and his friends will be your guides, but you've got to open yourself up to the music, traveler.

Embark on an unforgettable Bit.Trip of musical delight, DRM-free on GOG.com.

The press said about Bit.Trip Runner 2:
"It's one of the finest music games ever made" - IGN
"...a marvelous rhythmic platformer" - Dstuctoid
"...a flawless victory in game design" - GameZone

phaolo: ALL that?
Maybe one, if it's worth having :P

*rolleyes* -_-

omega64: Right?
It releases after all these years and they're still missing content. xD
Seems like there is a version without the portal character sold on the playstation store.
There really doesn't seem to be a good excuse here.
My guess would be that it has something to do with how they licensed all of the characters. I know there have been other cases of content not being sold here due to licensing issues (it seems to be especially common with soundtracks) so they might not legally be able to sell the DLC here right now. Maybe someday!
Nice bundle! I have played the Runner games in the past and they are awesome. Will check out the other games as well.

Edit: After all these years and several appearances in bundles they finally show up here and they are still regionally priced (with higher price points than the base price)? I'm disappointed and will stay with my Humble copies. Would have bought them again otherwise.

Well, it looks dreadful, however I am curious as to why this game takes up 14 entries? Is it being sold level by level?

It's not just one game. They released the whole series today, which has 7 games. Each game also has a soundtrack available, so that's why there's 14 entries - 7 games and 7 soundtracks.

There are 7 games, and 7 soundtracks. Not sure how different each game is from the rest.

In a case similar to Super Time Force Ultra, the DLC contains a Valve character which is probably the reason for why it's not here.

Ah thanks. Ok, I forgot the extras are now separate pay items.
Cool. I've only ever gotten Runner though Humble (way back in the day), so it'll be nice to have it all in one place.

The same dlc is on the playstation store without the valve character as mentioned in the post you're quoting.

While it may not be included for free in the base game, will GOG be selling it separately eventually? Even though it contains a Portal character, the "Good Friends Character Pack" is not a Steam exclusive.

It's worth noting that the "BIT.TRIP Runner 2: Good Friends Character Pack" has an entry on api.gog.com according to SCPM. Could it be that the powers that be forgot to include it in the bundle?

Also it could be that's between dev and our bizdev guys.
Runner type games are not what i would call classics.
