Oh she's definitely in the right castle.

Battle Princess Madelyn is now available DRM-free.

Are you afraid of ghosts and goblins? Well Princess Madelyn sure ain't! After a jerk wizard zaps her beloved dog into a ghostly afterlife, she dons her armor, picks up her lance and sets off to kick evil's butt, no matter the platform it sits on!

Ancient-Red-Dragon:
Unfortunate when the developers can't be bothered.

If a big name company like Bethesda can turn around and add it to releases why can a smaller one not?
Great to see this game here on GoG ^_^

I'll wishlist it and support it when a Linux version comes out.

Mr.Mumbles: On Steam there is.

Lifthrasil: Thanks. I checked it out, but you can't download the demo without the steam client, of course. So I'll wait for the publisher to upload a demo here before buying the game.
An alpha version is available on IndieDB. I've downloaded it and played it myself. Great game.

BreOl72: So, this is Joan Wick - the game? ;)
Must be... or more specifically a prequel with a medieval fantasy setting :D

Loger13: Please, could you stop drifting from one topic to another with complaining about your illnesses?
This is not a medical forum, and reading about your motion sickness for the 100500th time is very annoying.

Try to discuss really about games, and not about the reactions of your body to them. For a change.

Wishlisted for now. Bad timing with the Winter Sale incoming both here and on Steam.

gamesfreak64: Anyway 89% of all games ( maybe even more) on steam, gog, gamersgate and others always have some nasty flickering effects which add nothing to the game.... except headaches, sore eyes, even to players who are not sensible to certain patterns.

How viable is game without controller... I tried the demo & I'm not impressed in that regard.
And good luck with making success, it sounds like wonderful story/game/inspiration.

I've been following this game since its announcement and it looks so good :)

Any chance for a Linux version?
Parents I can understand, but killing my dog? This is WAR.

Anyway, the game looks awesome, and it will eventually end in my library. Battle Princesses best princesses.

Hey BeatriceElysia & Themken,

The game can be played without a controller, and we've noticed a few Twitch streamers giving it a go and getting on great.

In terms of the demo, we're working on getting that updated to a new version. That's a very early alpha version cut of the game. Once done, we'll update you so you can check it out.

Thank you di0nizus! We really appreciate the kind words.

No news on a Linux or Mac version at this stage. We're still very much focusing on ensuring the Windows build is as good as possible and of course the launch of Switch and PS4.

That said we have found videos of people playing the Pre-Alpha demo using Wine and it ran 'OK' - but of course, we cannot promise anything. In future, who knows. :)

I just wanted to say that this game doesn't appear on the new game list here on gog. It was just by mere coincidence that I saw this game ( which will be wishlisted after this) thanks to the news section at the bottom of the website.
