From the creators of Neverhood.

Armikrog, a unique claymation point-and-click adventure, is available now on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com

If you don't believe in love at first sight, just take one look at Armikrog. From the creators of "Neverhood", comes this new generation take on claymation-powered point-and-click adventure. Produced by an all-star squad of writers, animators and voice actors - names you might recognise from Earthworm Jim, Napoleon Dynamite, Pinky and the Brain, or Mystery Science Theater 3000 - the humor, acting, and stop-motion animation are so good you'd never know it was an indie game just by looking at it. Eccentric writing, surreal worlds, and lovable characters come together in an experience that you just can't ignore, the most unique adventure game in years, Armikrog.

In a time of action, explosions and hand-holding - games as unique as Armikrog have a hard time breaking through the mold. For a great analysis on why games like Armikrog are just as important, if not more, than today's AAA titles - check out this brief report by GameSpot:

Done ;-)
I contacted Terry Scott Taylor and (Daniel Amos band) about releasing Armikrog OST on GOG in FLAC format. Hopefully they'll reply something.

yyahoo: Yeah, there's a lot of them. Wings Remastered also did not give GOG keys out to backers.
avatar
mattymuc: Yes, you're right. Wings Remastered is not in my GOG library because I did not got a key as a backer... I'm happy I got a key for Satellite Reign from devs.
In future I will only back games when a GOG key is promised.
They actually did get GOG keys for the emulated version (not the remastered), so they shouldn't be counted as 100% anti-GOG. Of course, they have kept the keys to themselves for half a year (or more) now, and even specifically asking for them won't apparently help backers to get those.

Then again with another KS project it took three months for them to reply when I asked about the GOG key they promised, but in the end I actually got it.

So sometimes all you need to do is actually just wait.

Some reported it as being language related (on Windows). See https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/armikrog/armikrog/comments?cursor=11247827#comment-11247826

Heads-up that RPS is reporting this is pretty buggy, to the point where they're not sure it'll be finishable for a review. They're on the Steam version though, so there may be some differences.

Apparently the menus are broken for some people if Windows isn't set to English. That might be it.
Ah, The Neverhood!

Why oh why. Isn't a P&C adventure like one of the easiest types of games to program?
I read someone beating the game already saying the game is not very long. But he might just be super fast.
hi guys,

For some unfathomable even to myself reason, I had this game pre-ordered. I don't normally like, or am good at adventure games. I guess I mainly wanted to support GoG. So, yesterday I fired up the game as soon as I could, and promptly proceeded to get stuck at the second possible puzzle - the one that comes after the main hero 'climbs up a floor' in a manner of speaking and has to arrange the correct objects in a 3x3 grid in order to open a door. So what I'm saying, is there a walkthrough out already? Either way, even if I never play this game again I'd be fine with having payed as much for it, since it's a completely new (to the best of my knowledge) art style, that has not been explored much.
