Armikrog, a unique claymation point-and-click adventure, is available now on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com

If you don't believe in love at first sight, just take one look at Armikrog. From the creators of "Neverhood", comes this new generation take on claymation-powered point-and-click adventure. Produced by an all-star squad of writers, animators and voice actors - names you might recognise from Earthworm Jim, Napoleon Dynamite, Pinky and the Brain, or Mystery Science Theater 3000 - the humor, acting, and stop-motion animation are so good you'd never know it was an indie game just by looking at it. Eccentric writing, surreal worlds, and lovable characters come together in an experience that you just can't ignore, the most unique adventure game in years, Armikrog.

In a time of action, explosions and hand-holding - games as unique as Armikrog have a hard time breaking through the mold. For a great analysis on why games like Armikrog are just as important, if not more, than today's AAA titles - check out this brief report by GameSpot:

Crosmando: Yet another game which has screwed over it's Kickstarter backers by refusing to give out GOG keys.
Yes, I really should stop supporting kickstarter projects. So many games on GOG where we backers don't get a GOG key :-(
No key for Armello, no key for Armikrog, no key for Massive Challice...

And the worst thing - it's not a problem on GOG's side. GOG said they'd gladly provide developers with keys if they asked.

hyperagathon: Frontpage slide says "Windows" instead of "Windows + Mac + Linux".
I almost de-wishlisted it because of this. :P
I like clay! :)
Pretty harsh regional pricing, they basically make the 10% off paid by gog... >:<

Fixed.
It's finally here, yeey! :)

JudasIscariot: Fixed.
Can you please ask responsible people in GOG if there is any chance that KS backers would get the game on GOG? Did Pencil Test contact you in the end? I sent a bunch of messages to developers, but they never replied.

Interstellaria is another. One of only 2 games I backed on KS. I imagine I'll get a GOG key for the second one, though, Obduction from Cyan.

I won't back other projects on KS because I prefer my games on GOG.

EDIT: Still haven't claimed the damned thing from Humble. Way to get your game out in the world! :)

They replied to me in june back with this:
We're still working out details on which distribution sites backers will be able to download from -- but right now I can confirm that you will have the option to download the game though Steam OR the Humble Store (DRM free). We'll announce any other sites that will have the game available as part of our Kickstater fulfillment as those details become available.

Thanks!

Yeah, I saw that. I'm not sure what's the hold up though. May be they have no time or easy way to deliver backers info to GOG to get those keys? Can't HB help with it? HB provided GOG keys for other games in the past.

Can GOG comment on any of this?

Sorry for the hindsight, but.. why didn't you check beforehand? O_o
I mean, I'm totally not surprised about missing Gog keys from a kickstarter!
Gog is still little and niche, compared to other stores.

(anyway, fingers crossed for you)

GOG is not a "niche", it's second after Steam in size really.

Sorry, GOG is no niche, GOG is DRM-free platform #1!
