Wait, is the new base price on Zoom actually $3.99? That can't be right.

No games are counted as on-sale, and it's still at $3.99. This makes me think they forgot to set it back to the regular $14.99 price tag. (It's $15 both here and on Steam.)

@UCrest: yes, it seems you're missing some Visual C++ runtimes. The Zoom guys are adding them to the installers now. It's curious that you're missing them, since they are needed for a large number of Windows applications.

Very useful information for German users, considering Alekhine's Gun is available on Zoom, whereas the gog version is blocked (despite not even being on any of the German government's naughty list and the "no swastikas in gaemz, plox"-rules having been overturned quite some time ago).

In certain ways, Zoom reminds me of gog before they went all corporate. All Zoom have to do now is implement sales and discounts (and release Underworld Ascendant) and they're good to go!

The unspoken implication here is that Zoom does so little business that the owner himself gets to check each and every paypal receipt for anything untoward going on.

Just a little side note: If the rumors are true and Zoom will release Hatred in the future, please make sure that it's mod compatible. Maybe even include the FPS mod by default (despite what the workshop page says, DON'T include Hatred 1.666 - it's atrocious! Mass Murderer is simply the original game in first person mode whereas 1.666 adds all manner of cringeworthy content).

You can just type things into your email search and it will check all the emails for you. Its pretty useful.

That being said, the thought of Jordan Freeman going through each and every paypal receipt is much funnier and therefore is now my official headcanon and if I ever sign up on Zoom, I will make sure to use my mom's paypal in order to obscure my real identity. You know, just to be on the safe side...

I contacted Zoom to have my account deleted citing the poor behaviour that has been shown the last few days, they deleted the account but they said since there were no games on the account they wouldn't give a "legacy" status.

This was a lie though as I had 6 games on the account and I even replied stating the games that I had on the account (and I know they were on the account as I went through there whole library, picked them out when through the checkout procedure and have looked at my owned games.

But the person comes back saying "No you have no games, bye."

Seriously they have some issues, rather than looking at ways to improve there service (many companies at the very least offer a survey to fill out to see what someone was unhappy with) they just flat out lie to me. and then say I'm the wrong that was wrong.

I got the E-mails, however I didn't take pictures of my game account showing my library (frankly I never expected something like this to happen) so the fact those aren't available I'm sure people will just call it fake and move on. But then again I have shown E-mails on other forums in the past and just got harassed with people saying E-mails are easily faked, but I can produce the E-mails if you still want to see them.

I only have my word but frankly I have no reason to lie, I would lose a lot making something like this up so I would suffer more in the long wrong for producing a false statement, the games were properly added and they claimed that the games were not, that either means they have poor tracking service or they need to fix game ownership when acquiring games.

If you bought anything, you should have their purchase receipts in your email as well.
Or maybe the games you had were the Majesco ones that were given away? Stores overall tend to be weird about freebie contents, so in case the games were the freebie ones, maybe you'd want to ask them about that?

Ya, they were freebie games, I searched my E-mails but found no actual receipts (I don't delete receipt E-mails) but they were in my account and they stated in the E-mail that if any game free or otherwise would give access to a "Legacy" status. I was planning on grabbing Postal 3 after Christmas to give the game an honest try but frankly the reaction from the past few days really turned me off the platform.
