Time to exercise those little grey cells, mon ami.

Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders, an investigation/mystery adventure, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com for Windows, Mac, and Linux with a 20% launch discount.

For some people murder comes as naturally as reciting the alphabet. For others the same is true for solving them. Hercule Poirot, the eccentric, mustachioed detective with the formidable grey cells, is one of those people. "A" is for his adorable Belgian accent. "B" is for the impressive brain power possessed by such a little man. And "C" is for all the clues you will need to examine during your desperate investigation that will put a stop to the murdering spree of the appropriately named "A.B.C. killer".

For not only is this man terrorizing the British countryside by leaving a trail of alphabetically sequential victims, he even has the audacity to personally challenge the great Hercule Poirot by questioning his intellectual prowess. Such insolence cannot stand! Step into the well-polished shoes of the legendary detective, collect information, question the suspects and establish the timeline of the crimes. Your deductions will decide this sinister battle of wits and secure Poirot's reputation as the ultimate detective of our times. And the most modest.

Decipher the clues and solve Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders before the curiously-named murderer strikes again, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 20% discount will last until February 12, 5:59 PM GMT.
Now this is worth every penny.
Great it's finally here, love this sort of art style that is in the game.
That's all nice and well, but I'd rather GOG get the Sherlock Holmes games, especially the upcoming Devil's Daughter.
Audio and text: English, français.
And the english audio even has a french accent :)

So this is why he has this outrrrageous accent!

Come on Anuman, why isn't there a papercraft moustache in the goodies section?

And considering drm -free versions of these games exist at least up until the Jack the Ripper episode, their absence is a case only Sherlock Holmes himself could tackle.

It's Belgian, not French.
There you are, my lovely penguin. I knew you'd appear!

Sorry, I'm dumb. Does it make sense though, I saw this story was a book from UK, so is the main guy in there actually Belgian?
C'est bon! Now I just need a tisane to drink as I play it.

I will get this. Curious how GOG has only one game from each mystery series (Christie, Sherlock, Nancy Drew), especially as many more are available in some case. I hope this wedges the door open further to more of those games coming here.

Yes, and Poirot takes great pains to let people know. He is not a libertine like the notorious French, but a fastidious and even pious gentleman in the Belgian mode. To understand the difference, compare Paris with Brussels. :)

I don't know about your little grey cells, but when I listen to the trailer, mine do not allow me to make the distinction. ;)
But why is this not on GOG, it is on Steam after all. Wait... shit! Nevermind!

Poirot is Belgian (probably because it was very popular to be pro-Belgian in Britain during World War One, when the first Poirot novel was written) and he repeatedly reminds people in the novels (and the movies and the television series and everywhere else) that he is "Belgian, not French". Hence, my comment.
Pweeh, I am glad that I didn't order this game.
After reading some reviews (a very simple HOG with linear story and near nothing to interact with) I'll wait for a real
detective game.
