It was more painful when there was only one control method for each type character. Especially after my xbox controller broke. Each one has two different control schemes now so that is less of an issue.

AFAIK, mouse+keyboard are much better here. I found the gamepad controls a bit janky.

It's a good game overall. Zeke is my bro.
I see a game like this and somehow I miss the old "sharing a keyboard with friends" days.
I mean, buttcheeks close to one another, sweaty fat dudes banging the keys and... I'll stop here! :P

You know what's crazy? Every damn time you get dem feels that "phew, my wallet's safe now" Devolver comes around with a tasty game. I barely even finished the almighty Dropsy and now they're here once again! Crap!

How dare you give a reasonable reason when all we want is complain about how better it was before (that's the problem when a significant part of your customer base is 35+).

nightcraw1er.488: I agree. Each release seems to be pushing the price up. £7.50 for a game I never heard of, from an Indie I never heard, is way too much. Not to mention that the soundtrack is another £1.50, whatever happened to the goodies being part of the purchase, now it seems we have to pay for each component of each release as well. Disappointed.
For the price tag issue, shouldn't it be based on, first, the expected value for money (not only in terms of game length but also depth and fun), and second, on the development costs. The fame of the game or of the developer being the important criteria for you means that EA should really sell its FIFA games close to 250,- € ore more.

That you consider it too expensive to be an insta-buy, fair enough. If the genre interests you but you're not sure, why would you not search the web to find more details and make your own mind.

I don't meant that value is tied to publisher, I mean that being a lesser know dev/publisher is more risky. EA we know are likely to push out 50% crap per year, however we have no data on these. The game has some vague interest, and certain other smaller titles - UnEpic and Rogue Legacy, have turned out to be really good and was glad I brought them. I am just more cautious and will wait and see. As for cost, I personally find it too much, with the separate content pack. Have brought most of the stuff released this month, so on this one its too much cost per risk factor at the moment.
Just a reminder for those who might not like surprises - 80 days is slated for the 29th. It's only a few days away which contradicts the name of the game further every day, but hey... time for bed.

Is the Twitch release stream today for this game? I'd like to see it in action a little more than the short clips of gameplay featured in the video on the game card.


Edit: In response to my own question, yes, there was a Twitch stream scheduled for this game; however, Megapieman had some technical difficulties with the game and the stream was changed to the old standby, Blood. They are hoping that another streamer will be able to play the game in the near future...
