Voxels of mass destruction

8-Bit Armies, a fast-paced RTS of blocky voxel mayhem, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com, with GOG Galaxy support for achievements and a 10% launch discount.

War is a ruthless, violent, messy affair. Unless it's done by small blocky men, riding blocky vehicles, and bleeding blocky blood. Then it's also great fun. Because intense voxel warfare requires resources, resourcefulness, and mean commanding skills. But whether you're leading your weird-looking dudes through the 25-mission campaign or against your best friends, figuring out how to take advantage of every situation is only half the fun. The other half is simply spreading chaos and watching the destructible environment and soldiers go boom.

Unleash your 8-Bit Armies upon strategically placed voxels, DRM-free on GOG.com. If you can't get the game's electronic tunes out of your head, be sure to also grab the addictive soundtrack. The 10% launch discount on both the game and its OST will last until April 29, 4:59 PM UTC.
Yes, the child of C&C is here. Give it to me :)

First game with fair price package for me in a long time. Very nice since its 1.6€ more expensive then on Steam.

apehater: any infos about the factions?
There is only one faction for now but the developers intend to add 6 more factions with each faction getting its own campaign.

Hmm, there is no launch discount on the soundtrack.
Hey this is unfair. Now the price dropped by 1.5€ and it has still 1.5€ fair price package. What gives? This is 3€ difference. I guess I need to make a refund.

Nice! An great-seeming Day 1 release. When I get money, when I get money... I wish I could get it now.

are the factions going to be like in generals or more like in red alert series? will there be a crazy soviet faction?

There is like a crazy undead faction in one of the previews :) They are still thinking about that they will do.
Definitely not a perfect game but the look is awesome :-) And I love RTS, so insta bought.
Are big, blocky pixels not ugly enough for you? Use voxels! Voxels make everything look clunky, infantile and samey!

Voxels- when you absolutely, positively want a game that looks like a plate of ass.

Somewhat interesting, although for me personally the art 'style' doesn't add anything.
And if the developer intends to add that much more content, this is almost more of an early access title.
But if the reviews are good and the price drops significantly I'm interested.
Wow, this looks interesting. Any reviews about?
