I'll let a bluetext nagivate that EU regulatory minefield. Meanwhile, I finally got my clunker of a script to detect sale prices:
age_of_wonders_3_golden_realms
US_USD -> SALE PRICE : $9.59 ($11.99)
GB_GBP -> SALE PRICE : £7.19 (£8.99)
GB_USD -> SALE PRICE : $11.59 ($14.39)
FR_EUR -> SALE PRICE : €9.59 (€11.99)
FR_USD -> SALE PRICE : $12.69 ($15.79)
DE_EUR -> SALE PRICE : €9.59 (€11.99)
DE_USD -> SALE PRICE : $12.69 ($15.79)
PL_EUR -> SALE PRICE : €9.59 (€11.99)
PL_USD -> SALE PRICE : $12.69 ($15.79)
AU_AUD -> SALE PRICE : A$11.29 (A$13.99)
AU_USD -> SALE PRICE : $10.39 ($12.89)
RU_RUB -> SALE PRICE : ₽229 (₽279)
RU_USD -> SALE PRICE : $6.19 ($7.69)
MX_USD -> SALE PRICE : $8.89 ($10.99)
The parenthetical is the base price in those cases.
Attaching the update below, for anyone who wants to see bad code in its raw form. Right-click the attachment, choose Save As, and rename the file to pricecheck.pl. I had to fool the attach script into thinking it's an image.
