I think you mean the other way around, eh?

mrkgnao: 2) The following regions have become officially cheaper than US (in USD):
CH, DE
I would have never believed it would happen to them.
Witcher 3? Without fair price package? The € has fallen a long way.
Wow. This is weird.

I'm still used to think I'd have to pay 25% more than the US citizens.
Bah, still waiting for the drop of this regional locking nonsense anyway.

Yes.
Store credit is given only if the game is more expensive than US.
Regionally priced does not necessarily mean more expensive. It means different price, more expensive or cheaper.
There are indeed less games than are more expensive, hence less store credit.
But there are still two more regionally priced (cheaper) games.
And no game became flat priced following the change.

i guess its time for holidays in russia :)
Witcher 3 will soon even with 20% discount on gog.com cost the same as Witcher 3 on Steam with only 10% discount. 2-3 local price updates and we will be there. Sad times indeed.

It seems so "abnormal" ( in a statistical sense) that it can't last long... either the € drops below parity ( and the industry shifts from 1$= 1€ to 1$=1.5€ ) or the US adjust their monetary policy to ensure the $ doesn't loose ground in the big race towards currency depreciation ( resulting in an apparent bounce in EURUSD , thus correcting this anomaly)...
