mrkgnao: Update:
Bug fixed.
Price is now $14.99 in US too (and we lost our first Fair Price Package).
MaGog will update in a few hours.

stg83: So another game has become flat priced, these are all good signs for the future. Thanks for the info as always mrkgnao your awesome work with MaGog really makes it convenient to find about all these changes quickly.
It's still not flat priced; the bug fix was concerning the US price. RU still costs $5.79.
Thanks for the kind words.

Hurrah! I get to take titles off the list instead of putting them on. :)

Correct, it isn't flat priced as there is still the exclusive discount for RU. Still atleast King's Bounty games now being flat priced is a positive change in the right direction. :)

Indeed, a first for this thread and I hope it leads to more updating of this thread for removing instead of adding to the list.

Quite so! A demonstrable sign that GOG is likely still fighting for flat pricing. I've made the deletions, and it feels good.
Normally I dread seeing this thread have new posts, but for once we can actually say good news it seems! Waiting for the dust to settle though, just to be really sure it's not some bug somewhere.
Brownie points for 1C if things stay like this, both price drops and quickly giving up on regional pricing.

Edit: Nah, didn't wait anymore :)

Dafuq? Good news? I didn't click on this thread for good news.
What is this world doing to my habits? xD
With this bold move 1C gained lots of +rep ;)

stg83: They refunded the money for that reason? I thought you could only get a refund if the game doesn't work properly on you system.
I didn't download anything, so a refund wasn't a problem. But I will use this thread to applaud the support team once again. As always they were very friendly and the whole issue was resolved in just two or three days. It's always a pleasure to deal with them!

And the recent price drops are indeed interesting. Even more interesting, because most of the affected games (KB: Dark Side, Space Rangers, Monkey Island, Star Wars: KOTOR) were just released a short time ago.

It looks like they are testing the waters and want to see how much people are willing to pay for a DRM free digital version, I haven't seen a 20% discount anywhere else either.

All six games are now no longer regionally priced. Nice.
No special treatment for Russia? Colour me impressed.

PaterAlf: GOG is trolling me. I bought the game when it was released here and after that asked for a refund, because I felt bad about buying a regional priced game. Now I have my money back and they take away the regional pricing too. *sigh*

On to the wishlist it goes again...
Sorry. :/

However to be honest GOG should extend the sales for the game. A lot of people missed it to avoid supporting regional pricing. They waited the end of the sales to change to flat pricing.
From MaGog's logs for 22 January:

NOTE! CHANGED Space Rangers HD: A War Apart, regional_str: AU,BR,DE,GB,PL,RU,UA,CH,CZ,NO,RO,SE, ***TO*** RU,

After the GOG bug fix mentioned above, the game has returned to its original regional pricing only in RU ($5.79), albeit with a lower-than-before price everywhere else ($14.99 instead of $19.99).

I often misread that word as titties when reading with bleary eyes. Thank you for evoking some amusing imagery, wherein this case it was "putting them on" that caused a smile for once in this thread.

I think I need a second cuppa for some coherence and comprehension :)

It's okay, I don't mind pulling a Blackadder when the situation warrants. :D

No need to worry about it. The next sale for this game series will come sooner or later.
