PaterAlf: GOG is trolling me. I bought the game when it was released here and after that asked for a refund, because I felt bad about buying a regional priced game.
They refunded the money for that reason? I thought you could only get a refund if the game doesn't work properly on you system.

They have to give a refund to eu customer in 14 days without any reason stated from the side of the customer as long as the game has not been downloaded per eu law.

The game's price has been reduced from $20 to $15 everywhere, EXCEPT RU (former Soviet Union) and US (Rest of the World).
In RU, it remains $5.79. In US, it remains $19.99.
And the cherry, US buyers get a Fair Price Package (see attached image),

You can get a refund within 30 days of purchase as long as the game hasn't been downloaded. From Terms of Use:

Final sale

A sale is considered final either 30 days after purchase OR when you make a download attempt for a game or its bonus content. Once either of those happens, you no longer will have any return, exchange or refund options unless you have technical issues covered by the \"Technical issues\" paragraph above.

Yeah, but I guess the difference is that you can get a refund even if you have downloaded the game and are dissatisfied with the product in UK or atleast that is what I think I read Sachys post somewhere on the forum but don't know if its true for all of EU.

I'm talking in general, not about EU/UK. The world doesn't revolve around them, after all. :P

Yeah, I know you were talking in general and I am aware of the GOG terms of use regarding a refund. But the world does revolve around Russia when it comes to regional pricing. ;)

Now to get back on topic, I don't think it is a bug as the game seems to be exclusively expensive in US now while the rest of the world is getting it for $14.99 including from my location.

Update:
Bug fixed.
Price is now $14.99 in US too (and we lost our first Fair Price Package).
MaGog will update in a few hours.

So another game has become flat priced, these are all good signs for the future. Thanks for the info as always mrkgnao your awesome work with MaGog really makes it convenient to find about all these changes quickly.
