How far away are we from the day when they'll be getting one title for free for every purchase they make?

Perhaps the rest of the world should stop making purchases, and collectively start pirating everything to death. Seems to pay off nicely.
Pretty much... except if you're Australian... if you're to believe our politicians / every rep of industry body for entertainment media everywhere we are the biggest pirates going... yet all our regional prices are jacked... no correlation there I'm sure...

As I said above, these are not the flat-priced games; these are the regionally-priced ones. Their price remains the same; what has changed is their currency rate, where with less dollars you can now buy the same amount of rubles.
Oops, missed that the prices given are the USD ones. :/

I'll make a note to my previous post - I'm still curious though to see when they'll be given extra incentives to spend actual money on games. ;-D

Grargar: Nothing strange about that. These are the regionally-priced games that have been affected, not the rest. You know, in the same way that European games were affected. Want an example? Before the first Local Prices Update, the standard version of Age of Wonders 3 had a cost of $55 for Europeans. How many dollars does it cost right now? $50.40.
Thank you for the explanation. So the regional-priced games got a little cheaper (regarding the Dollar price), because of exchange rates while the flat-priced games are a little more expensive now (when paid in Rubbel)?

Not sure how this is related to regional pricing, but while the KGB (call it whatever) is active in Poland, they are way more active in Baltics, Scandinavia, Germany, and Hungary sadly atm. Especially Baltics & Sweden

Cheaper in dollars; not necessarily cheaper. They still pay the same prices in rubles. For example, Age of Wonders 3's price on Russia is 600 rubles, which now converts to a bit over $11.5. Same case with the European prices after the first Local Prices Update. We still pay €40 for Age of Wonders 3, but whereas its dollar price was initially $55, now it's $50.40.

As for flat-priced games, before the first Local Prices Update, a $5.99 game equalled 219 rubles on GOG. Now, a $5.99 game equals 289 rubles here.

Thanks, I'll get it on the list. I figured one of the several recent releases had to be regional priced. It was just a matter of odds.

...and we have yet to see AAA titles aside from the (semi)self-published and regional-priced Witcher 3. :)
