UPDATE:

As of 2015-04-02, GOG has regional priced almost all of their catalogue. That move renders this thread irrelevant, so the list and GOGmix will no longer be updated to reflect these changes.

If you want to track the remaining few flat priced games, we have a thread for that.

========================================

A thread to help me keep my GOGmix up to date. Hopefully it will remain short, with needed updates infrequent.

This should automatically pick up any games added or changed to regional pricing. A comprehensive search captures both the regionally priced and regionally discounted titles.

There is an informative post from Judas here about GOG's stance on the regional pricing issue.

Is witcher 2 still region dependent?

No, my understanding is that it was freed from those shackles. I'm happy to be corrected if my understanding is in error, however.
It costs 20$ for me when I check right now, then again I'm not at a € country at the moment. But AOW3 costs 55$, so I guess TW2 isn't regionally priced?

Can't tell. Too busy thinking of the amoung of Deus Ex copies I could buy for the price of AOW3.

It's 20$ here too so I guess no regional pricing anymore.
Is there a way to know if back catalog games were regional price? It was mentioned that if an older games contract gets renegotiated, regional pricing might be implemented on those as well.
Perhaps we should also do a list for devs/publishers on GOG who use regional pricing.

Also called "The Black List".

Seriously speaking, I think that a publisher could use regional pricing for some of its games, while not using it for others.
Triumph Studios, for instance, has set regional pricing on AOW3, while it still use the global price for the older AOW.

I hope GOG will leave the price in dollars in the search list, while stating the other values on the game page, just to see clearly the difference.

It might. And probably will. But that's an outrage for the months to come, please do concentrate your rage on the current issue at hand like everybody else.

It's just an idea. It's not the new AAA games that are regionally priced that we should be worried about, any forum member can spot those a mile coming with another forum member in short order. Figuring out when older titles are region priced is a bit harder to gauge since I doubt GOG will announce the switch and the titles won't necessarily have an announcement following them to even give a clue of change.

I was ok with the pre-orders not being regionally priced (only sort of) but when it was made clear the back catalog could be renegotiated entirely, I thought the whole set up was a bad idea from top to bottom. It could be fair if done right (rarely does this happen), but I don't think that's whats going to happen here. A lot of people are going to get price hammered for merely living on the wrong part of the globe. By keeping track of the changes everyone can see how far it's going to go and then make an informed consumer decision for themselves.

I'm fine with including those in the list/GOGmix as well, though I sincerely hope there never are any to add. I will be relying on other folks to point those out most of the time though, since I'm in the States and probably will be the last to notice such a change.
blotunga suggested that I capture the various prices in the GOGmix as well. Does anyone have a handy list of what these two versions of the game sell for in the GOG-supported regional currencies?

I was just going to suggest the same thing ... it would be useful if we could figure out who is getting charged what in which country.

Pre-order: Age of Wonders 3
[...] Depending on your location you'll be charged $39.99 or the USD equivalent of £29.99, or €39.99. An extended Age of Wonders 3 - Deluxe Edition, featuring a full soundtrack and the Dragon's Throne standalone scenario, is available for $44.99, £34.99, or €44.99. As a special pre-order bonus, both versions include the Elven Resurgence, a standalone scenario DLC.
Which, for Euro, apparently makes $54.99 and $61.99, respectively.

When you guys pay in euros, do you pay vat on top of the list price or does the list price include vat?
