ElTerprise: EDIT: Okay looks like RoTT 2013 won't be region-locked after all as the original post in the News thread was changed.

Maxvorstadt: Well, I only use the german forum because it`s there. If there was no german forum, I wouldn`t miss it, I had no problems with the english forum, even before the localizing of forums started.
Plus it does enhance my skills in english.
Saboteur? There are no Swastikas in this game, I played it very often in the eighties.

ElTerprise: That Saboteur does: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Saboteur

NuffCatnip: Yeah, since I almost never visit the german subforum this helped a lot. :D

Since we already now that 'Saboteur' will be released on gog at some point, I'll have to get it via trading, that game is plastered with Swastika. :P

ElTerprise: That's good. I guess it's only a fraction of the Germans here that actually visit the German subforum at all. Would've been great if they'd also post that here but i appreciate that we were informed in advance at all :)

Well that will be the case will all upcoming games that are either blacklisted / banned / whatever or filled with swastikas....
Yeah, that is going to suck, but at least here there no regionlocks at gog.
now gog has enough games to make a great weekend bundle "F%&$ Germans Bundle", with no games in it for customers from germany :)

Yay, I guess. The game's dull as dishwater, but at least Germans can determine that for themselves now.

Well i don't have to do that anymore :)

Well technically there are region locks but they don't prevent us from installing and playing the games.

Great selling point, should go on the game card.

HypersomniacLive: Great selling point, should go on the game card.
"Gameplay so mediocre that not even the Germans would ban it."

Definitely game card material. Cheers for the chuckles.
why is planet strike left out of that ban?

apehater: why is planet strike left out of that ban?
Because it was never put on the index. Same thing happened with Cannon Fodder 2 and Crusader: No Regret.

ah, i see
Man, this is madness.
Madness?
THIS IS GERMANY 2016!
... and sometimes it feels like we're in some kind of friggin' stone age. I would love see stupid geo-lock nonsense shrivel up and die (yes, I quoted some Doom here). Too bad now GOG has to go that way too with what Steam did to its customers a while ago.

Sad times :(. I hope we gamers can overcome stuff like that happening someday.
Warned you, didn't I.
Well, the only option for honest Germans is to use some sort of IP masking... or ask their friends to gift them games.
I don't see what's bothering you so much, guys. They don't want to sell their games to Germans? Just pirate them, drm-free installs make it all the more simple.

I won't blame you. Noone will. Or should at least.

I hope they don't introduce region locks (redeem locks) in the future.
