Clownski_: The order was a gift and the game was added to your GOG library free of charge.
Thank you for sorting that!

Clownski_: While the Team is currently working on a fix, the Remastered version of the game may disappear from your library for a couple of hours, but I guarantee it will reappear once we resolve it.
A fix for a... fix? What's there to fix? The removal of a $9.99 entry and readding it as $0?

No big deal since I knew there were some issues with the remaster not appearing, but I can imagine it being quite the scare for the unaware lmao

metalos: I just got the email and first i thought it is just a scam, but loged in to my account and the game is there and it is on my purchase list. After a little panic i loged in to my online bank but there wasn't any purchase in my bank account history.
Next step was the forum and now it is clear what happened, i lightened.
Thats how it went for me too. I also changed my GOG password.
If so many people were unaware of the promotion to cause this panic, I wonder how many bought the remaster, despite already owning the original.
I know I am getting forgetful but when I saw the email I thought, "did I order that game?" Thanks for the clarification and the gift. Hopefully the game got rid of the problems with the original that made it unplayable, for me anyway.

I played the game on Steam some time ago and didn't have any major complains, just a heads up though, the fight with the Oracle on the rooftop used to be bugged in the Remaster (not sure if they have fixed it since I played it), the QTE where Lucas runs along the wall would always fail, I had to lower the in-game resolution to be able to finish that section.
Thanks for the update I thought my account was hacked. Checked my bank then came here to remove financial information, change passwords ect.

I've already downloaded it and fled with my booty, fear not :P.
Wheesh... that was indeed a shock. Especially given it was in USD and I haven't bought a game from GOG in USD for years. And double especially when I checked my account and it showed the same order, so clearly wasn't some sort of phishing scam.

Thank you for posting this clarification!
Thanks for the [s]shock[/s] gift!

I came on here after receiving order confirmation for this game, thanks for the free game.
Thanks for the update, email should have been sent out the same time as the forum post.

Cadaver747: [UPDATE#2]: I'm stupid, I received the game about 2 hours ago according to Orders history. But all this time I was checking the game from the store like I used to for the past 14 years, and the game was so *secretly* gifted to my accounnt that the store don't recognize Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered as "Owned".
Same here. Shows in downloads, but catalog doesn't show as own.

Every day that passes, the GOG catalog becomes more and mores useless. I literally cannot browse the catalog because of so many "owned but not marked as owned" things, what with things like this and bundles and collectors editions and...

It's GOG's #2 issue. (#1 of cousre being the game with DRM in them.)

Weird thing is... GOG's done this kind of freebie before, multiple times, without a catch. Why different this time?

This has to be nicest fuck-ups I have ever witnessed. First scared, then delighted. Thank you!

That is one of the oldest and most common problems on GOG. I have maybe 50 or 100 games in my library that I "don't own" according to the storefront.

I always try to only purchase the most ultimate edition or the largest bundle, but even then, sometimes a lesser bundle or a lesser edition doesn't get marked as owned lol. Maybe some day they can fix their broken database, but probably not.

Nearly all Amazon Prime giveaways don't get marked as owned either and the only time they did anything about that was with Prey, because "lack of ownership" prevented people from buying the DLC. Otherwise there's probably no motivation to fix it, as this problem is financially advantageous to them.
