Hey everyone. I wanted to clarify the situation regarding the recent order confirmation email of Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered that was sent to owners of the original version of the game.

While the message incorrectly stated that you purchased a copy of Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered, it was in fact a visual bug on our side that in no way affected your account or any of your payment options. The order was a gift and the game was added to your GOG library free of charge.

While the Team is currently working on a fix, the Remastered version of the game may disappear from your library for a couple of hours, but I guarantee it will reappear once we resolve it.

We’re really sorry about the confusion, and will do our best to avoid such situations in the future. Thank you for your understanding.

No harm done on my side, I still have not received the free gift, perhaps my account is special.

[UPDATE]: I received the free game about a minute ago. Miracle! ;)

[UPDATE#2]: I'm stupid, I received the game about 2 hours ago according to Orders history. But all this time I was checking the game from the store like I used to for the past 14 years, and the game was so *secretly* gifted to my accounnt that the store don't recognize Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered as "Owned".

If you worded the email differently (e.g. "You received a Gift from GOG Team") all this confusion could be avoided.

I got the email a bit over two hours ago and actually got up to check if I had gotten hacked, ugh. Thanks for the gift, no thanks for the scare. XP

I just got the email and first i thought it is just a scam, but loged in to my account and the game is there and it is on my purchase list. After a little panic i loged in to my online bank but there wasn't any purchase in my bank account history.
Next step was the forum and now it is clear what happened, i lightened.

I wondered what happened because I was sure I already owned this game and I knew for a fact I hadn't purchased anything within the last couple of hours, so I was a bit alarmed.
