You can download any game you bought from GOG at https://www.gog.com/account
You can also access all your GOG games through the optional Galaxy client, if you like, which can be found at https://www.gog.com/galaxy
If you don't want your games after all and just want your money back, then according to GOG's user agreement (under "Withdrawal Right") you can request a refund from support as long as you haven't started to download the game you bought and make your request within 30 days of the original purchase.

If you buy a game on GOG.com you get an option to go to your account. You don't get a link to the forums.
You make it sound like you bought the game on a third party site, aka a key reseller site. There are no official key reseller sites for GOG games. Key reseller sites aren't legit. There are only a handful of legit key seller sites like Humble and Gamersgate.
