I bought Soma in these sales, played 20 minutes, I am not satisfied and I would get a refund (first time), in the faq I read that I have to contact customer support, but I have no problems, simply do not like the game and I would ask the refund.

how should I do? tnx.
I don't think merely not liking the game is a valid reason to get a refund.

Either you should have some technical problem with the game that GOG can't fix for you (and you meet the technical requirements for the game), or you haven't downloaded the game yet. Then you'd be entitled for a refund.
You can request one but getting it would be a courtesy, it's not a valid reason for a refund on GOG.

A change of mind isn't grounds for a refund - you could try contacting support, but since you've downloaded the game and there are no technical issues - they're under no obligation to give you one
Contact support either way. Choose "other" in the problem type field and explain the situation. If you're lucky, the person who responds might be kind enough to let your request go through.

in other words gog don't have a real refund sistem( like steam, 2 hours and if you don't like the game you can ask refund, if I had bought soma of steam now I could sure have my money back, It is not a good advertisement in my modest opinio). bad bad bad........

Unlike steam, GOG can not pull the game from your hard disk, ever thought about this? :O

but they have the serial number\ key of my copy right? have my account(with my all games bought) , my dates and email, if they found a pirate copy with my serial onlne they can denounce me for piracy and and proceed through the court and they can ban me for life with all my games in account. So, where is the problem , I'm not a thief.

Since the my first day here this is the first refund for me.

So long as they make it clear what the policy is, if any, before purchase, then it's your own fault.

You can't park in a 'no parking zone' and expect to get out of the ticket because you didn't read the sign.

It does.
Just because it doesn't fit with your definition of a refund, it doesn't change the facts.
But send them a message, maybe you'll have luck.

GOG offers DRM free downloads - untied to any client. Given that you could download and keep the game even if they removed it from your account, you can see why GOG's policy is as it is.

Wasn't the whole point of GOG's DRM-Free stance to not treat customers as criminals though? Is this really any different?

Though I imagine the problem here would be that it's too hard to sell to the publishers/devs.

Wrong. Your installer is the same installer that everyone on GOG gets. Nobody could idetify "your" installer. Not having shit attached to your games is exactly what DRM free means.

Exactly this. I don't think that anyone would go through the hassle to buy a game, download it, ask for a refund and to play his ilegal (your installer becomes as legal as any pirated installer) and (if it's a newer game) unpatched game. If someone wants an illegal copy, s/he'll just pirate it. "Buyrating" it from GOG is just too complicated.
