I'm certain GOG would gladly add them. It's just that EA isn't interested in releasing C&C here.

You can get the game free on the internet. Westwood released it to the public. It is also DRM free that way.

I'm holding out hope they'll come to GOG eventually.

Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert, and Tiberian Sun are freeware. Along with each game's respective expansion packs.

You can also check out OpenRA. It is an open source implementation of a game engine with support for Red Alert, Tiberian Dawn and Dune 2000. It can download assets for the games so you can easily install them and play them.

Chrono commandos are specially trained SEAL operatives (according to the wiki you linked). So you can't really say they were wrong in calling them an Allied Navy Seal. ;)

If only GOG could add games of their choosing merely by intention. :) In reality, that is not how games get added to the GOG store (or any other store for that matter). Just like any other commercial product, the owner of the product decides where they will sell their product and when, and may negotiate terms with a given distributor they wish to work with.

Any games not available on GOG.com for sale ultimately are the result of the owner of the game property either having no interest in selling the particular game on GOG, or they haven't negotiated with GOG to make that happen yet. The detailed reasoning for why they have no interest selling their game on GOG, or why they haven't negotiated a deal with GOG will naturally vary widely from game to game, company to company. Additionally there are often complex legal ownership rights issues that may stand in the way of certain games ever being distributed on GOG (or other stores), such as the NOLF games for example.

The answer to any "Why isn't game Xyz on GOG?" question is always the same: Contact the publisher of the game why their game isn't available on GOG because the publisher and intellectual property owners for the game decide where to sell it, not GOG. Generally speaking, the only way a game is not available on GOG where the decision was up to GOG, is if GOG decides purposefully to NOT sell a game here because they do not think it is the right type of game for their customer audience. That is unlikely to be the case with old classic games, but more likely to be the case with low quality indie shovelware type games and games that are geared towards very small niches that they perceive there isn't much profit to be had for the effort and overhead it takes to launch a game in the store (support, etc.).
