dtgreene: Topic says it all; well mostly. I am looking for fantasy games with modern feminist themes.
What do you consider to be 'modern feminist themes'?
Dragon Age: Origins is a pretty good example. Even more so if you choose to play a female. Beyond that, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines has its moments.
I have to play Bloodlines one of this days. I want to be a smug Ventrue.

Didn't take long for the OP to become "low rated". Rep abuse in action.

dtgreene: (Also, it is preferable, for games with fixed protagonists, if the protagonist is not a man.)
King's Bounty: Armored Princess (the Polish title - King's Bounty: Wojownicza Księżniczka (Warlike Princess) is more accurate, beacuse the princess isn't really well armored).

Also, it's actually a good game unlike the other games with "femminist themes".
Duke Nukem 3D

Yep, it has been noted as further proof of the problem.

My original DA:O playthrough was with a female city elf whose husband was murdered in front of her and I treated the whole game as one long revenge mission. Loved that vibe.
OP is getting downrepped, while people trolling with nonsense answers like Duke Nukem 3D are not. I love GOG and still want to love its community. But do you have to behave like a bunch of 5 years old?
If you have no interest in the discussion, move on to a different thread.

I always thought Sacred worked here.
The Seraphim, Vampire, and Daemon have always been favorites of mine, and the Seraphim has more or less become the "logo" for the series. She gets all the press as it were and I love the juxtaposition of this cute little angle with adorable pigtails that runs around cutting everyone to pieces. :P
Did you bother watching E3 2018 on youtube ?

More than 80% of the games showcased have modern feminist themes.

American gaming companies are pandering to females like never before.

You can find many girl power games in the link below-

THE BIGGEST GAMING DEMOGRAPHIC IS ADULT WOMEN.

Seriously, that's not pandering, that's just marketing to your audience.

Incidentally, kickass women protagonists are a power fantasy for women in the same way as Arnie or Duke Nukem are for men. They also have the side effect of being hot as hell even without skimpy clothing because confidence is sexy, which appeals to men as well; the ur-example I'd cite is Ripley from Alien. I think it's win-win.

One constraint: I do not like the way combat works in the Baldur's Gate games, so please don't recommend me games with that sort of combat, or games with RTS style combat at all. Stick with either turn based or full action games.

(Also, it is preferable, for games with fixed protagonists, if the protagonist is not a man.)
What do you mean by "modern feminist themes"? Are you looking for women who are comfortable with who they are and don't need men to justify their existence? Or are you looking for women who go off on anti-male rants all the time?

If the former, and you don't mind point & click adventure games, check out The Cat Lady.
