I only have the vaguest memories of this game, but I'm still hoping against hope that it will be enough!
1. It's an older title, released during the Windows 95 era or earlier.
2. It's a bit of a dungeon crawler, where you go through clear grey-tiled rooms. You can choose to move front, back, left or right as you please. When you enter a room, you can encounter a monster, a trap or treasure/loot. There might be other stuff, but I can't remember.
3. There only 2 stats, I believe. Health & Mana. There are a limited number of actions. I think there is only "Fight", "Use Item" and "Escape" (to the previous room).
4. There is only 1 character, you the player. You don't control any party. I think your eventual goal is to make your way to the "Throne room" or boss area, something like that.
5. It's not a text adventure game. The graphics are clearly done. I remembered a bright picture of a skeleton and a crisp red potion-shaped icon/item for the heath stat/potion, and a crisp blue potion-shaped icon/item for the heath stat/potion.
6. A demo was released though one of those old game demo disks that you can buy or get for free. That was how I first got a chance to play it.
7. It's not "Leygrefs Castle".
8. It has a similar graphical style to "Mordor the Depths of Denjol" (Thanks to Darvond). (See image below)
A real thank you to anyone who could "magically" weed out the name of this obscure game! I've been trying to search around, till I got tired of going through pages after pages on abandonware websites, but without a modicum of success.
