JakobFel: To anyone that has a shred of dignity, to be honest. This isn't a pornographic site, this is a gaming site. Either give us a filter to keep that sort of stuff off of our feed or keep it off the site. I'd like to hide that sort of thing because I have zero interest in buying it. It clutters the store for me and makes it less enjoyable to browse for deals that I may actually be interested in.
And here we go. I knew it was only a matter of time before it went this route. So clearly you weren't joking when you were insulting people who buy these games in your other post then? Anyone who has a shred of dignity shouldn't want this stuff on the store? Nice.

There's nothing pornographic on the banner image. Nothing pornographic on the thumbnail store image. There's nothing pornographic even if you click on the game page. And despite what you might think, these are video games, and the GOG staff thinks they're fine being here.

It clutters the store? LOL, okay man, you're really reaching here. Yeah, that handful of games is really cluttering up the store... Please. You're just making yourself look even worse with that kind of B.S.

You don't like the games and don't think they should exist here, and because of that you're basically making a scene online. Instead of just ignoring something yourself, which you'd expect any well functioning adult to be able to do, you're getting upset and insulting people because you don't like a video game that's being sold on GOG. Think about that for a second...

You know there's a lot of games I'm not interested in on GOG, and I'm not complaining. I just understand that not all entertainment is made for me, and there's going to be things I like and don't like on the store. I'm able to just keep scrolling and pass over whatever I'm not interested in without getting upset.

You know damn well it's not cluttering the store, or impacting your ability to browse for deals you're actually interested in. None of that is true, and everyone knows what you're doing and how you're acting right now.

Gudadantza: Really mate. It is not so strange that some people in GOG want this kind of game here. If it were the Epic Store I could understand someone were surprised for being potentially available. But in GOG? An Ultima style of game with new ideas but the same aspect? incomprehensible!
I didn't say it's strange. All I said was that I'm not interested.
One thing I do not understand is; why people call a natural sexual behavior a "smut".

I am a man a gamer and I love and adore women!

So I appreciate this release, thank you GOG! ;)
You can download the Lurking games free on itch. It says name your own price, which means that you can technically download it for free if you would rather play the game first to try it out. Most games on itch don't have DRM, so you don't need to wait for GOG to have a DRM-free experience with these games.

As much as I love RPGs, GOG is not RPG Central. It doesn't need to have every RPG in existence nor do I want that as there are some pretty bad ones out there. It is okay if an RPG gets passed over in favor of a game of some other genre or even that other game is something blatantly pervy like Subverse. The only requirements should be that the game is fun to play, GOG users are requesting it, and the developer is willing to release the game here.
It would have helped to actually help the developers of the games you were yearning for by linking them in your opening post.

And to be honest, I've had my fill of faux low color RPGs trying to ape the early Ultima games without understanding what made them good; that was something I already encountered in various knockoffs during the 90s on shovelware collections.

To the boys defending the disgusting porn games...

Would you still be as interested if the games showed almost-naked men, instead of almost naked women?

Defending =/= being interested in. You don't have to be personaly interested in something to believe it has the right to exist.

Now, whether it belongs in a "curated store" like GOG is a more tricky question, but I don't think it's been possible to talk seriously of GOG's curation for a good long while now.

The games involving sex scenes show both.

I know, shocking, but true! :o

I go as far as saying that nude mods which only show the women naked suck.

I'm of the opinion that anything goes in fiction and that's fine (I'd draw the line at propaganda for hatred, but that's about it). Thought experiments can go anywhere. They are just thoughts. Real life is where I draw hard lines.

But if we examine real life for a moment, most people engage is sexual activity at some point in their lives and as long as it is between consensual adults, its fine. Actually, it is quite necessary to perpetuate the species. We'd be quite distressed if the vast majority of the human race suddenly refrained from sexual activity (in vitro will only get you so far).

However, most people don't engage in serious acts of violence (at least in countries that aren't at war) and those who do without very good reasons (ex: self defense) go to jail.

For a lot of people, what is acceptable in fiction is the complete reverse of what is acceptable in real life. That's kind of weird no?

I'd just like an ignore game button like on Steam, or a blocker for "sexual" games - and soccer/golf games for that matter - as I have no interest in them.
As for the other games mentioned, it's a bad argument, as the "sex" games being here can't be the reason why the "Ultima-like" games have not been accepted yet. They seem to me unrelated matters.
Also, GOG does not have a name your own price model, and the Lurking games are already DRM-free and actually free on Itch.io.

Keeping with the OP's point I too find GOG's decisions to refuse to list games here baffling. I recently fond out from the developer that GOG denied a request from the developer to list Submerged. It's a single player game that sold well and seems right up GOG's alley. A sequel is in development.
