The game flickers on and off and then crashes right after the ubisoft logo. I have tried so many things. switching compatibility modes, switching my monitors resolution, installing nglide, updating my drivers, etc. I know my pc can run it. Can someone please help ive been trying all day.
There's a section on this in PCGamingWiki:

www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Rayman_2:_The_Great_Escape

Maybe some of the solutions might work for you.

EDIT: It's in the section called "Crash to desktop on Windows 8.1 (GOG.com)".

EDIT 2: That's it, I give up. All my links keep getting messed up.

Can you provide more information on your system? such as version of Windows and PC specs?

Update: I did a quick look online and it may be an audio issue

https://www.reddit.com/r/Rayman/comments/jjew7c/question_rayman_2_crashing_when_launched_pc_via/

This person has a similar issue but the problem resolved itself when they plugged in headphones.

Update 2: Found this in GOG support which seems to validate it
