Ok the site is acting weird. The notify me button on some games are blinking and I can't add games to wishlist.

Website or Galaxy?

At least wishlist substraction works on the website, just removed Oregon Trail + DLC after seeing the reports of bugs not being fixed for 2 years...

The main wishlist button on store pages, I get a popup login window. Adding other ways seems to work.

Speaking of going to burger places, what's y'alls opinion on """ethnic""" places that serve """non-ethnic""" food? A couple of the Chinese places around here tend to have fries and fried chicken of some sort. I've read some Chinese places actually have pretty good fried chicken. Might have to try that out some time myself.
As long as the food is good for its price, I don't whine. Although, when going purpously to an ethnic restaurant I usually tend to take something ethnic dishes.
The 90s moomin series is some of the best anime I've had the pleasure of seeing. It helps that all the people working on it clearly wanted the best for it, especially the visuals and the music especially (video).

It's one of those things I wish I had discovered years before, instead of recently.

It truly is magical. It's part of my childhood.

I wanted to spread the joy, but it seems nigh impossible to get them in the original Finnish voiceover with English subtitles. The English dubbing isn't great compared to the original (especially Nuuskamuikkunen!), IMHO.

I was using yt-dlp to get them off Youtube, but none of them had eng subtitles, that I found. Opensubtitles has completely out-of-sync ones for only some of them...

The DVDs also don't seem to have them, even if you manage to find them and have a dvd drive.

Sigh.

It was very popular in Norway, and I have great memories from watching it. Had the toy moomin house with the figures and everything. Hufsa (don't know the English name) was so unsettling as a kid.. My parents used to say the show reflects how the Finnish are a quiet, depressed people. AFAIK it's actually one of the happiest countries in the world.

The moomin cups and kitchen stuff are some of the most popular things to get people for christmas gifts over here, and my kitchen is full of them by now. This is okay.

I've had some Moomin tea, it was a very fine selection; and slowly readied me for watching the 90s series. I'd like to get a little more things, but it clashes with my normal non-materialist personage.
Today the owl outside my home hooted in a soothing tone as I awoke and began my routine. Was nice to hear.

Did it say Douglas?

No, but it kept asking me the same question over and over. Must be a budding reporter type.
Wasn't there once a Moomins series where a comet was going to strike the earth? Or was that the peyote?
We get a lot of owls in my neighbourhood too, one was on my roof recently. Noisy bastard.
