I didn't want to open an unneccessary thread for that...I am sure some of you know of the guys at OCremix.org. Those guys clearly know how to remix old tracks.
Currently, a new album has been released to the mindblowing classic "Donkey Kong Country 2" (the best of the franchise) by various famous artists in tribute for the old Nintendo composer David Wise.

They are hit and miss. Some tracks are extremely good however I thought their soundtrack for Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix was an abomination.

In all do fairness, that was based of quite an old album they did for street fighter 2.
I've been following them for years, and I definately think they have improved over time.

Also, the remix album is dedicated to Weiss, and it gives me the expression that this was an extreme motivation boot because the music is really awesome!
