LordCinnamon: So, two pretty interesting articles from ars technica. How's rest of the site? Worth following? How does it compare to say, gizmodo or wired?
I find it to be an amazing website (the forums are also great) which is rarely biased and almost never PR driven articles.
It has a more broad reach than giz. because it covers almost everything related to IT as well as science and at times parts of social media and business.
As for Wired, they are both owned by the same company Cond Nast (after a recent aquisition); Ars has more in-depth coverage than Wired in my opinion.
All in all, I honestly recommend it. At least go and skim their front page.
Oh, also, don't judge the website by the comments as there's been a recent influx of stupid people when Ars did an experiment and blocked content for those using add-blockers. Most of the people in the forums are amazing and rarely even comment on the site.
