1. Why is it not here, even during the heydey of constant releases of EA games back then?

2. Is this game a "Made for PC" game because it was ported over many platforms, because for some reason when I do searches for the game on Google they mostly advertise the Sega Genesis version, Wikipedia uses the Sega Genesis cover for the game:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powermonger

So is this a PC/DOS/Mac game that made console ports of Vice Versa?

it is based on the Populous engine, and you can say that the Amiga / Dos versions came first

Thank you.

And when I meant "Made for PC" I meant all those "PC Platforms" like DOS, Apple II, Amiga, and Commodore.
See Mobygames page for details. As for Wikipedia, they use what they legally may - for example, if the person who wrote the article scanned their Mega Drive copy, then that's going to end up as the cover.

For the same reason that other EA games (like Desert Strike, Fade to Black and Hi-Octane) aren't here, aka, who bloody knows?

This game is part of the old Populous franchise, we have 3 of them, we are missing this :P

Oh right the same reason we don't have Rainbow Six 3 here :P

Powermonger was cool.

If I remember the reviews of the time, they signed it as boring on the long run.

I didn't got this feeling. Perhaps was too young and fascinated...

Or SWAT 4.
I thought this was a decent if a little repetitive. Those types of games were pretty popul(us)er at the time.
There was an Amiga-only expansion which gave the game a WWI skin/theme
Poor Huff never got his wish. Vote anyway if you'd buy a DOS release here - https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/powermonger

Or Hitman Blood Money?

I've wondered why Powermonger isn't here. Fortunately I have my old Populous 2 & Powermonger CD.

It's fun, but it's a little repetitive and some levels are excessively difficult without some precise moves early on. I once had a save file where I beat every single level. I'll probably never do that again though.
There's also the Bullfrog racing game, the name of which escapes me. It used the magic carpet engine.

Or Tomb Raider Legend. Seriously, we can do this all day.

The question is, do we have time for this?
