They are the same game. My suggestion would be to buy it here. The reason being is that GOG has various promises, such as it will work on your system (assuming you meet the specifications) and if they can’t get it working then they will refund. I do not know of anything like that elsewhere. Also, this one comes all ready with dosbox (I think it’s a dosbox game, been a long time since I looked at it) all setup to run. Just run the offline installer you can download from your account on the website and ready to go.
As for the game, it was great for its era, wether you will like it I don’t know. Look at the reviews and videos and make your own mind up, it’s not expensive, but there are likely to be sales at some point soon (always is), so may be able to pick up real cheap (another good reason to buy here).

It is a DOSBox game. It's got a few mostly crummy source ports (with one "better" one in off/on development) as well.
