So I went into the forum and immediately "kaylayuhos26" knows I'm online. That's kind of creepy, so I turn on the privacy feature so I can't chat with anyone. My question is, how can I hide my online status and will Kleetus still knows I'm online when I turned off chat?

You can't, although the "online" tag is a bit bugged and unreliable at best. You'll show up as "online" so long as you're logged in and have a tab open anywhere on the website. Or if you're in Galaxy. Kleetus will still bug you whether you're online or not. I've said this to you before, but I'll mention it again:
You do realize that this forum isn't like most social medias you're used to, right? People here aren't exactly accustomed to just being chatted up out of the blue with a "hi lol lets be friends u got a facebook accnt" or something similar.

There is currently no way to hide your online status, just block whoever is annoying you or change your privacy settings if you're being pestered.

Interesting. I saw a friend request from the same person and accepted. I guess I don't care if it's a stranger or not. Who knows, we may have some good conversations. If it gets weird, however, then there's always block.

It's worth mentioning that Kay here is a bit on the younger side and very unfamiliar with the ways of the forum (or seemingly any social media, really), so it appears she's treating the place like it's Omegle or something where you'd just randomly hit up people for a conversation. I dunno who directed her here, but they told her nothing whatsoever about the community.

I've taken her under my wing and I'm looking out for her.

I've also been telling her about the people to stay away from, there's some seriously weird people here.
