Pretty much yes. If you do each day's daily quest, and win 15 times total in the normal play mode (or the new one ' tavern brawl') then you'll have about 650-700 gold at the end of the week. That's enough for 6 new packs, or 4 arena entries. The latter will always net you at least 4 new packs, as well as some gold&dust. Enough, even if you crash out each time without a win, to do a fifth arena game. If you score a couple of wins though, you could win enough gold in the arena to buy several more arena entries, in addition to winning more than one new pack.

If however, you win 30 times (instead of 15) a day in addition to doing the daily quest, then you'll have about 1000 gold at the end of the week. That's enough for 10 new packs, or 6 entries into the arena (7 if you have some leftover gold). That could net you as much as 21 new packs (or more) as you're getting better at the game.

Well the cheapest known deck, that will get you as high as Legendary, is Face Hunter.
For it you would need to craft some cards(Knife Juggler, Arcane Golem, Glaivezooka, Abusive Sargent) and buy three expansion wings 3*700g=2400g, or according to this, 3*$6.99=$20.97.

I don't play many Blizzard games, but I did play a pirate version of Starcraft 2: wings of liberty many years ago. I didn't buy the legal version because it was sold out on stores and when I heard it was meant to be a trilogy I decided to buy it when it was finished. And I just bought the full game this morning, true to my word. Installed their stupid client, downloaded the game (I must say the install as you play option is cool), launched it... and can't play because there's some problem connecting to battlenet, and the play offline option doesn't work because I have to play online first.

Fuck Blizzard. I said I would buy this game so I shall, but damn their online obsession. Never ran into this problem with the pirate version.

Thank you for affirming my choice to not buy Starcraft II (or Diablo III) was the right choice for me. :) The screenshots and videos online look cool for these games and I enjoyed the originals but truth be told, I'm very unlikely to ever play the newer ones due to the issues you cite, plus I couldn't be bothered to pirate the stuff, not worth my time really.

I will not stand quiet while you compare us to the treacherous mangos. It only looks that we make a great combo because we fight so much that someone had to make use of the corpse littered battlefields and there was no better idea than fruit salads.

I don't know what the issue with battlenet is. Some people seem to have problems connecting to it from time to time, but I've never encountered any problems and I don't exactly have a steller internet connection. I managed to finish the SC2 WoL campaign twice without any problem on my 384kbs line. I'm upset with the required battlenet login required to play SC sure, but for WoL I thought it well worth it. It has a very fun and creative single player campaign (meager story though)

The funny thing is that it does connect. I bought the game, installed and connected the client and downloaded the game. It's just once I start the game that it refuses to connect. It so happens to perfectly illustrate DRM's fault as "one innecesary extra step for things to fail at"

That must've been infuriating. Worst for me was when I bought Anno2070, and had to try and download two compulsory 500mb patches through Uplay with my 384kb line. Wasted a whole day trying to update through Uplay. I take my hat for steam on that front though - I've never had problems downloading/updating a Steam game, even with the incredibly slow connections I've had. UPlay, Battlenet on the other hand. And I'd rather not talk about trying to update through Games for Windows Live :-\

You can buy a new hero almost on a daily basis. You get gold for leveling your profile, leveling your heroes, doing daily quests, doing events, and playing games. Heroes range from 2K gold (few daily quests and few hero/profile levels) to 15K (the newest releases heroes).

It doesn't matter. It still has 7+ million players. 6.3 is coming soon that will tie up the story of Warlods of Draenor.
Warcraft Chronicles Volume 1 was announced, coming soon, a book very similar to Book of Cain / Tyriel, that will sort of summarise everything up until the first war.
The Warcraft movie is coming that will have a more detailed look at the first war.
New expansion will be announced at BlizzCon, and they are aiming to release it close to the movie release date (10th of June) in order to cross promote.

Whispers of Oblivion is releasing soon, mini campaign for SC2.
Legacy of the Void is coming later this year, concluding the story of Starcraft 2.
The LotV multiplayer lifespan will be at least a few years after its release.

So the things mentioned above need to happen for a new Warcraft RTS to be released. Which might be never, considering that Starcraft 2 is one of the few profitable RTSes these days. The genre is completely dead, and SC2 is singlehandedly carrying it.
