Guys, does anybody remember the Famous Five games that were released by Ravensburger back in the late 1990's.The series cosisted of five parts: The Silver Tower, Treasure Island, Kidnapped, Dangerous Discovery and Five on a Secret Mission for the PC or Mac.They are based on the books written by Enid Blyton.I made a wishlist entry,so if anyone is interested,please vote.It would be really cool if GOG brought the games here,since they are a pain in the *** to find online these days.Cheers

Never heard of them, but now have me a bit interested. What were they like, as you recall them?

They were very atmosferic point&click games.The story is really interesting, revolving around a group of friends solving puzzles and mysteries.The games support german and english language,although the german one is by far the better one :D.Cheers

The original publisher was Ravensburger Interactive.Based in Germany,and still very active,although not so much in the pc games department.As to who actually own the rights now,that is a question for the Famous Five ;).Considering the fact that the games are based on books,maybe thats the road to follow.Cheers

The fourth is "Famous Five on Treasure Island", but it is from 1990, and not for PC, so I presume it is not part of the series you mean? It has a different publisher too.

Yep, i was pointing at the Windows releases :).They are indeed point&click adventures, with a nice story and vibe to it.
I have the disc's, but they are in a rather poor condition and i try to preserve them :D.

Point and click is nice for me, but I love Sierra text parser much much more. :-P

Looks like a pleasant family type game. I would purchase this if it ever came to gog. Thanks for the link, I watched all three recordings of the first game. Clearly not the best game in the world, but a nice little game that kids could wander into the room without issue while playing. Thanks again.
