Starmaker: To be on topic, I recommend Heartbeat. It's Pokemon with lesbian waifus and they're all awesome. The gameplay is great, too. The creators are a lesbian couple. DRM-free on Steam and comes with a Steam key on itch if you don't need regional pricing.
The creators of that game are known to be transphobic, so unfortunately I consider that game to not be suitable.

(Also, I would actually prefer it if the itch.io version *didn't* come with a steam key, as I consider such keys to have negative value.)

Starmaker: I was wrong in being overly conservative. The Gamergate!!!1! era was so saturated with woman-hating rhetoric that I got affected by it and started falsely hoping it might be somewhat true. Meaning,
It sounds like you are still affected by such rhetoric.

(Also, this whole discussion is really not what the topic is about.)

Starmaker: A lot of privileged people move abroad and change nationality. The overwhelming majority of people on Earth can't do it - they won't be accepted in a better country and they would be even worse off without support networks in a country which will accept them. And those who can still need permission from the host nationality for it. And, crucially, not being the host nationality yet, you don't get to determine the rules under which you do or do not get accepted. If I "identify" as French-Canadian and French speaker, I'll be laughed out of the embassy.
But this is a tangent.

Sometimes, people are forced extrinsically to be attached to their geographical origin, but their intrinsic attachment (ie, what they do when its up to them) to their geography pales in comparison to their attachment to their gender and sexual identity.

Starmaker: Meanwhile, men are demanding to be accepted as women over the objections of women and have intentionally passed laws to the effect without any public discussion.
I don't buy that "race to the bottom" argument.

Sure, some people have it worse, but you can't help them if you limit yourself mindset to what you'd think about in their situation. Great innovation (the kind we need) practically never come from the bottom, because its hard to engage in higher level abstract thoughts when your basic needs aren't met. Its not an ideal situation and certainly not something to aspire to as a way of thinking.

If you have it good, then it is your responsibility to use your situation to improve your mindset and in turn, use that to propel humanity upward.

Of course, some people p*ss that opportunity away doing stupid things like propagating hate and assaulting congress, but some of us do make use of that opportunity.

Starmaker: I don't understand where you're going with the second sentence here, but genderists change their sexual preferences and gender identities significantly more often. Men go straight -> gay -> "lesbian" teen girl (straight sex offender with pedo ideation), women go normal -> Sasuke -> bunny -> Cloud Strife -> Jimin from BTS -> potato.

I guarantee Matt Thorson and James Stanton will be "coming out" again as "lesbians" after they get boob jobs.
Yeah, you see some of that on TV. In actual life, I can't think of a single person I've met who has gone back and forth like that (some people might change their stated gender and sexual orientation once, usually if they have been repressed I think).

Sexual and gender identity is not just a whim. Just because its harder to picture for a cisgendered heterosexual person doesn't mean it isn't real.
