I can only imagine it's taking this long because they're trying to answer the "When will Oblivion release here?" with "Now, check front page"....

Q (Airborne2): "Can you say what questions can't be answered? Can you also say why they can't be answered or if there's time for the questions to be amended?"

A (Fables22): "I'd rather not amend the questions retrospectively. But as was stated in the OP of the BizDev Q&A thread "questions related specifically to certain devs/publishers may not be answerable due to NDAs" - so essentially anything that goes into too much detail about specific titles, publishers, devs... falls into that category and could, at best, be only answered with a very generic answer."

As for me, i've asked a question about specific publishers and their games, i just want to know if GOG is negotiating with them or not - they don't need to go further than that if that would mean breaking NDA.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if GOG can't aswer a specific question due to an NDA, it means that there IS an agreement, so.. that company will probably bring games to GOG, right?

The reason being (aside from the general business of the BizDev team and all the buzz that's been going on recently) - the amount of questions we got was overwhelming to say the least. Once we worked out which ones we can answer and which were the most common themes, BizDev worked their way through it and got them answered (they split the questions into relevant sections and each member of the team answered a bunch), however, when we went through the answers afterwards as a team, we found out that the answers weren't comprehensive enough to give you guys a good idea of how things work, some of the answers doubled, the length of the whole thing was definitely in the realms of "too much", and, generally, we didn't feel like we did as good a job answering the questions as we could. Because we want to go into as much depth as we can and answer as much stuff as we possibly (and legally) can, we've decided to re-visit the Qs one more time.
Apologies, but I hope you understand. And rest assure that you will a 100% get your answers as soon as possible! :)"

Another month of waiting, mechmouse it's time to set alarm again! :p
Thanks for posting this, last we heard they were getting close to being done but obviously things have changed now.

It's just different channels, some prefer "old-style" forums, others twitter or facebook. Some may even use both and be a community member as well as a twitter/facebook follower.

However, follower doesn't mean much. It's not like you are actively doing something. The equivalent of a follower on twitter/facebook would be someone reading a community forum post once in a while.

It's weird that GOG can't seem to keep a consistent mascot anymore - GOG Bear, Squirrel, aliens(or some kind of beasts?). Perhaps it should just be aliens, but I think Steam used/uses 3 aliens too). Meh, maybe they just don't want to be tied down.
