The third game developed by Supergiant Games has been announced with an awesome , and a [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbgdegzfPP4]soundtrack sample.
After Bastion and Transistor I can't wait to play Pyre. This trailer made me restart both Transistor and Bastion.

Update:
PAX demo

That art design...I hope it arrives here as day one release.
They sure know how to create interesting worlds, so I'm hoping for a GOG release.
A GOG release on day one would be nice, unfortunately I couldn't wait for Transistor to join GOG, so I got it on Steam during a sale, now I regret it, but at least you can play Transistor and Bastion without the Steam client if you so desire, check here for more information.

The trailer makes it almost impossible to guess what the actual gameplay is like. Such as there is of it looks somewhat like a fantasy version of Speedball, and sadly not very interesting. Still, the art direction... Supergiant Games certainly have creative vision, you gotta hand them that. All those creatively bankrupt indie developers who go "we have no ideas, we'll just go for a Manga style" would do well to take a page from the book of Supergiant Games.

We have to contact them in masses to ensure this:

Or for those with Twitter:

There is a first look blog post on Supergiant Games' page about the game. I'd post a link, but I am not allowed to.

I also added Pyre to the Community Wishlish, in the hope it will get enough votes for GOG to reach out to Supergiant. I can't link to that either. So, you can go the wishlist, search for Pyre and give it a +1 if you think it'll help with getting the game to GOG on release day.

I guess this is my first forum post, and that's why it won't let me post links yet.

Looks awesome. Voted on wishlist.
I still haven't had the chance to play Transistor, but I loved Bastion so I'm looking forward to more of their games. Although the trailer, to be honest, didn't really impress me. Neither the music nor the graphics seem as nice as the previous games. Still, it's only a short trailer, so I hope it turns out much better than it looks here.

Thanks for helping out with the links. I found out about not being able to post links only after composing the message and hitting Post; and having already created the Wishlist entry. Now I'll know to be careful.

It's too early to say much about the game itself, but I particularly like that they're hoping to deliver a large cast of characters. Here's hoping for more news and promos soon.
After Bastion and Transistor, I sure will check it out. I'll also be sure not to buy it until it comes out on GOG, even if it takes years longer.
*sigh*

No, I'm not in any way a big fan of mass emailing indie developers, whatever goal it may serve. :|

It'd be high time for a Supergiantgames day one release on GOG though. God, they've taken eternity and a day for Bastion and Transistor. And IIRC we only got Bastion because Warner Brothers, not SGG, had the rights to the game?
