An entertaining puzzle, or so I hope, for anyone wanting to crack a code for Divine Divinity:

1. let's start easy: the number of games in a trilogy
2. what kind of sentence is this? take the first letter
3. a playingcard that's neither hearts, nor diamonds, nor hearts, nor spade? take the first letter
4. continuing with card games: how many people are needed for a game of bridge?
5. to what literal genre does swords and sorcery belong? take the first letter
6. first letter of the first meal of the day that's eaten by pouring it in milk
7. it takes how many to tango?
8. besides Divine Divinity, how many other Divinity games did Larian make? (*)
9. how many cardinal sins are there, according to the catholic church?
10. what's the first letter of the name of the famous sea inlets in Norway?
11. no puzzle is complete without mentioning the first letter of the name of the RPG game series created by Bioware, that got enhanced by Beamdog
12. take 2, multiply by itself, take the square of that, subtract 1 and divide by 3
13. take the answer of the previous question, multiply by itself, then take the root of the answer
14. how many people in a family if a twin have no brothers and sisters, there are no adopted children involved and the parents are happily or unhappily married?
15. the game of question 11 was not the first one released by Beamdog. Take the second letter of the game overhauled first by Beamdog.
16. the twins of the 14th question both get a partner and have a twin of their own. Sadly, of the aforementioned twins, one gets divorced, but both children of her find a partner. After the parents that started the whole family die, everyone still gets together to celebrate christmas. How many people are celebrating together?
17. Are there any questions after this one? take the first letter.

(*) for this question, expansions and Developer Cuts are NOT counted as separate games
(**) here's to hoping I didn't make a mistake, like I did with my Chronicles of Riddick last Sale, where I had accidentally made 2 questions for a single character.

Please post here if you've taken the code!

If people like it, I might create puzzles for other games (got kind of addicted buying mystery games and there's a lot I bought as a gift I won't claim myself).
Nice little puzzle but number six makes absolutely no sense to me :-( Usually I pour milk into things, not the other way around. Maybe some specifically Dutch thing?
EDIT: AAH! Now I figured out a group of fitting things, something-bix being one. I feel kind of dumb now.

Yeah, maybe things first, milk later is the proper way to do it. Hint: Weetabix is not the answer, I'm not asking for a specific product, but the general word for this kind of products.
Dang! First attempt was not correct. I really should work not solve puzzles hehe...
Guess I must leave it to others to try. Thanks for providing a bad reason to delay going out into the icy rain.

Hmm...

Oooh! I love puzzles, but already own Divine Divinity. If I solve it, can I PM you the answer to check if it's right, and if it is, can I give it to Themken?

Aha! :-) I do not need the game but am curious as well to what the aswers are since I did not solve it 100% correctly.

Welp, you've got the right guy for the job. The Puzzlemaster is here to help! This one wasn't really all that hard, I'm only having trouble with 14 and 16 because of his grammar. Outside of that, I'm 99% percent confident I've solved it. To help with your earlier question, he's not talking about a brand, which Weetabix is, he's talking about the actual PRODUCT itself. Weetabix is a type of___?
Cereals/müsli, I know :-) I just do not tend to eat those with milk which is why it took me a while to figure it out.

...I've never even heard of that latter word before. I was just thinking of cereal, which I thought everybody ate with milk. But then, I'm thinking of American breakfast cereals such as Frosted Flakes or Lucky Charms or something, it could be different in other countries.
Zeogold PM-ed me his solution and I checked it against the code stored in the mail sent by GOG and I have to say I'm sorry:

For the second time in a row I created a puzzle with mistakes and not only one but two:

3. a playingcard that's neither hearts, nor diamonds, nor hearts, nor spade? got messed up, it should have read:

3. a playingcard that's neither hearts, nor diamonds, nor clubs, nor spade? this answer gets the proper character

plus I completely missed one character of the code, between questions 16 and 17:

16a: insert the letter K ( I won't add insult to injury for having you all puzzle for that one as well).

Zeogold has got everything right in his PM IF IT WEREN'T FOR ME MAKING MISTAKES AGAIN.

The best thing to do for me, even though I like making puzzles and I think it's the most fun kind of giveawary, is not create puzzles no more. I am a good example why not everyone diagnosed with autism is good at details.

Incorrect. The best thing for you is to keep making puzzles, but have me, the Puzzlemaster himself, assist you. I'm not interested in the prize, I'm interested in the challenge. So long as you let me have a crack at it first, I'll happily assist you with any edits you need, I love doing this stuff.

I solved it! I checked my code and it turned out correct, but I didn't redeem. Do you want it?

I'll do that. Now it's up to GOG first to start same some sales with freebies and mystery games to turn into gifts :-)

Thanks but no thanks! :-) I got it already by now. What I would like is some time to play the new games...

I saved my earlier attempt at this and this missing K fixed it. So I reckon the other clues were all pretty reasonable. I didn't claim the code, though, I just wanted a crack at your puzzle.

No, you just need to test more before posting them. When I make puzzles, the testing is a huge (and not very fun) part of the process. You work through the puzzle from beginning to end, without making assumptions (if possible), and even submit the code that results to GOG. I usually do this a few times.

Another possibility is to ask a couple of people here to test solve for you.

You enjoy making puzzles, and we enjoy solving them. So you should definitely make more. Thanks for this one.
