Themken: Based on your constant recommendations for it and it turning up as suggested in the test which distro is right for you, I installed it on my desktop. Of course, due to circumstances, I have not had much time to play with it beyond getting it up and running.

Yes, we want STALKER 2 and we would prefer it compatible with Linux too :-) Not WindowsStore exclusive and using DX12 and all other MS only tools.
Well, a word of warning just for my own peace of mind:

Your mileage may vary. Saying this because someone else, who will remain nameless due to GDPR :P, tried it out and they had nothing but problems. Whether those problems were due to hardware or a faulty ISO that was uploaded at the time, I don't know.

tl;dr please make a separate partition for the Antergos install or just do a live with persistence version before doing anything permanent on your machine :)

They are actually making it. No more development hell.
Yes, that's because of the Cinnamon DE. Which can be found on any distro worth spit, with none of the drawbacks of Mint's release cycle.

Alright, let me do a wild shot in the dark.

Press ALT+F2. Type in gnome-t, and then hit tab, then enter. (This autocompletes to Gnome-Terminal, probably) Then type, sudo apt get install cinnamo, and hit tab. It should list a lot of packages.

Unless apt is a bit more stupid than I gave it credit for.

In which case, I suppose it'd be time to pry open the synaptic package manager.

It seriously works just like mint? The app store and everything available? The settings menu and the ability to easily turn off guest accounts? All of that just like MINT?
