Ice_Mage: Credit/debit card purchases should be instantaneous, at least in other parts of the world.
In the US it's because most of the economy is in a credit/debt system where a quick check confirms and they do authorizations, but the actual transactions can take 3-5 business days to actually go through.
But in the event the credit isn't accepted, then it may very well take longer. I remember ordering some straps from a site, sending a check. They wouldn't ship the product until they got the check, and it cleared. Sure it took like 10 days (
3 days to mail the check, 3 days to clear, add a weekend) but eventually when it was all sorted they shipped the product.
With this in mind, it is possible Paypal wouldn't be any faster, because paypal will initiate a transfer and use a credit card as a backup, and if all goes well you can instantly buy something. But they can and will reject payments too if something happens.
Zack173: next time I will try the E-wallets option this way for sure.
Yeah, once money is cleared and in the wallet, purchases should be instantaneous since you've prepaid.
