around 3 days ago i noticed that the games number and wallet funds numbers shown via the pull-down "menu" from any browser did not update those numbers after a new purchase. the one that has your username and when you hold the mouse cursor over for a second. normally and forever before, if something changed (you got new game or used wallet) and then checked that tab, it, in real time, updated to reflect that change. well, within a second or so and you would see it happen. then a few days ago, i noticed it stopped updating after it should have changed - more than once. it was during the sale, so i assumed maybe server strain and can't update or such-like situation.

it's still this way, so i decided to do a quick test. instead of logging out or clearing cookies, i logged in via a different browser. to my surprise it doesn't show those two number stats; game count or wallet funds. ????
is this a deliberate new change? if so, why?

My numbers are gone too. I wonder if this has something to do with 0 games on profile bug.

The forum is coming more and more apart at the seams.
The disappearance of the numbers is just another symptom for that.

The problems they're talking about (which don't seem to affect me right now) are in the menu bar -- so, not forum-specific, but (presumably) site-wide.

EDIT: I take that back -- both these problems now affect me (presumably because of redeeming the freebies during the Black Friday sale).

Yes, I logout and clear cookies every day basically. OP said it disappeared after clearing cookies as well so likely everyone is affected, they might just don't know yet.

I bought 10 games off my wishlist and the dropdown hasn't updated yet, but it still says I have those games so *shrug*.

Only those who bought or redeemed something are affected. Still see the numbers if I didn't.

I doubt it's anything to do with that, since I rarely sign out (and certainly haven't recently), and I'm still affected.

Yeah, I noticed a weird discrepancy with my numbers a while back, and even noted it aloud.

To double-check, you're missing all the numbers in the user menu at the top of the page?

The numbers are all gone.
And I had mine still being shown, after I saw first posts appearing, with people complaining about them being gone.

But does it matter as to why exactly they disappear?

If you go to your account, you still see the number on each of the particular pages (games/movies/wishlist).

The worst case scenario: you have some items (games/movies) hidden, so you must add two numbers together to get the total (worth remembering: with a certain DLC still sitting in some accounts, that total number is too high by the count of one).
