Eager for some all-time classic RPG and shooter experiences – Bethesda Publisher Sale is here!

Swords and sorcery, chainsaws and demon guts, post-apocalypse and survival. All iconic duos in their own way. A wealth of experiences lay within the Bethesda library, boasting some of the most influential modern-day games. Whether it’s the sprawling worlds of Fallout or Elder Scrolls, or the tight blood-drenched Mars bases of Doom, it’s hard to overlook the quality of depth Bethesda has under their name.

Explore the rich history of the Fallout series with Fallout & Fallout 2. From its isometric past to its modern first-person view, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition paved the way for the series in the modern age, while Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate improved the gameplay and expanded the content of its predecessor.

Role-playing isn’t restricted to the post-apocalyptic world. The highly celebrated entries in the Elder Scrolls series are also part of the sale. Two games that defined their respective generations, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game of the Year Edition Deluxe and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind GOTY Edition, are both 50% off.

As for a taste of the old-school, Doom II + Final Doom, Return To Castle Wolfenstein and the Quake series are all included in the weekend sale for half of their regular price.

The sale ends October 21, at 1 PM UTC.

GenlyAi: Yeah, I know, you're right... I was just trying to be optimistic... those prices are obviously a mistake.
And my optimism is like: I hope that I will live to see the day when GOG adjusts prices for the Bethesda catalog. :D

And the Gothic series.

And almost the entire Rebellion and Piko Interactive catalogs.

This is incredible. Literally every post on the first page of this thread is high rated xD.

When will they finally get the hint?

:P

I doubt it'll make any difference but it's pretty fun to see that :P

I've started using the "+" a lot more in recent years, especially since it's an easy way to thank someone without having to actually respond.
This sale gives me a massive case of Déjà vu.

I'll add at least the Bethesda regional price as a 'communithy wishilist', if it's not there already. Who knows...

OHMYGODJCABOMB: Why should I (or any other GOG customer) overpay? Give me at least one fair reason.
I'm not going to pay any price for a DRM'ed game that's available DRM free on GOG. I don't care how long I have to wait - it's not like there's not anything else to play while you wait (for a price you consider acceptable).

OHMYGODJCABOMB: So it's definitely possible and GOG can do it. Until that happens, I will vote with my wallet.
What makes you think that GOG had any influence in the lowering of price? You can guess all you want, but ultimately nobody except GOG and the publishers know what happens "behind the screens".

How about RAGE, Bethesda?
I know regionally pricing is a controversial topic, but considering this post:

https://www.gog.com/forum/general/publisher_sale_bbethesda_games_50_offb_91e5c/post34

Meanwhile on Steam:

- Doom II: 109 RUB (vs 669 RUB on GOG);
- Fallout: 249 RUB (vs 669 RUB on GOG);
- Fallout 2: 249 RUB (vs 669 RUB on GOG);
- Fallout Tactics: 249 RUB (vs 669 RUB on GOG);
- Quake: 199 RUB (vs 669 RUB on GOG);
- Quake II: 199 RUB (vs 669 RUB on GOG);
- Quake III: 429 RUB (vs 999 RUB on GOG);
- Return To Castle Wolfenstein: 199 RUB (vs 400 RUB on GOG);
- The Ultimate Doom: 109 RUB (vs 400 RUB on GOG);
- Wolfenstein 3D: 109 RUB (vs 669 RUB on GOG).

All prices are without ANY discount.

GOG, please, contact Bethesda and fix these price tags!

Doom 3, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Morrowind, Oblivion and Quake 4 are already regionally priced. Seriously, what's the problem?
I added the following Community Wishlist to hopefully bring more attention to GOG about this fact.

Please, upvote if you can!

Hey Bethesda! No GOG Connect? No chocolate!
Already have all of these games. So I guess I will pass this one.
I assume after this one we will have halloween sale right?
Hopefully they will re release Wolfenstein 2009 along with the great games mentioned here
It happens only scarcely that a GOG sale comes up and none of the titles is either in my library (693) or my wishlist (135). But then I double-checked the title - oh yeah, Bethesda and their business practices, especially punishing their DRM-free customers... I guess it pays off to you guys yet, otherwise you wouldn't do it, but until you change your "DRM-free is theft" and "a game isn't complete without a bzillion DLCs" policies, I'm not your customer.

Before I, invevitably, get downvoted, this isn't meant to disparage people who have loved Bethesda-owned (not -developed!) games. It's just that when I grew up (the 20th century ;-]), games were released optimized, (almost) bug-free and complete.
Thanks everybody for the votes so far, regarding inconsistent regionally priced Bethesda's games.

Feel free to create for other publishers, I just really wanna focus on Bethesda here; seems so flagrant, almost like an oversight.
